Magic. There are those born with greed and lust in their hearts, who use magic to their own nefarious deeds. Those who's dark power towers over others like some insurmountable wall, some unreachable goal, something to be used to crush those beneath them. Celeste...is very much NOT one of those people.
Born to a long and proud line of kind and helpful mages, fortune tellers, and powerful witches, Celeste was always raised to beleive that Magic should be used for the betterment of the world. It's something to help brighten someones day, to help shed light on the darkness. And so, when Celeste's own powers manifested, and proved to have potential greater than any that had been seen from her family tree before, she and her parents were overjoyed.
Instantly, they began teaching her light magic, everything from life magics and reformation, to attacks, defenses, and supports! After all, a big part of her job now was to help defeat dark magic users, and awful beings. Now, for non-magic users, she had a simple solution. A spell she came up with herself! She crafted it, formed it, and even gave it words all on her own, to which her parents couldn't have been prouder.
As for what this unique spell does, well, when used on a non-magic user, it takes out of them all of the darkness in their hearts, and forms it into a monster that she can either slay or imprison for later use against dark magic users. Of course, raised as she was, she sees everyone as a potential friend, even dark magic users. So, before trying to destory them, she'll first try to win them over to the light side, that they may use their dark magic to help people!
However, if this fails, she's more than capable of destroying dark magic users in many ways. One of which is via consumption! Yes, when she gained her magic, she also gained the ability to devour others! While she will normally reform anyone she eats, Dark magic users are another story, and she may well keep them inside of her, on her body, so that they can't hurt anyone else.
