Back story - Chained was abducted as a pup and experimented on with military grade drugs for their super soldiers. Being exposed to this sort of behavior and treatment at such a young age drove him mad. he patiently bide his time as it went by he'd slowly wear down the chain latched to his leg until finally he was able to break free from the walls that kept him imprisoned. The chain still attached to his left foreleg is a remnant of those days and he keeps it to remind himself of the things he had to go through as a pup.

Grown up now he is a very cocky bastard, he's got a bit of a temper at times but he does his best trying to keep it bottled down. Chained isn't a bad person himself. Infact he'll keep to himself most of the time but due to the traumas of his own childhood he won't hesitate to help someone else who's in danger of a similar fate as his own.


Important canon events:

9/10/2013: Chained escaped a thunderstorm in a dojo belonging to Kojaro and lived there for almost a year.

7/13/2014: Chained left the dojo belonging to his friend and boarded Slips Pirate ship and is currently a member of his crew.

6/5/2018: Chained was involuntarily captured by Gekin He now serves the dragon, albiet with some disdain.

7/12/2019: Chained explored the valleys that MaxTribeWolf had been lurking around and helped the anthro wolf escape the wrath of his ex tribesmen. The two now travel as a two wolf pack.

Abilities:

Chained was experimented on since his young days as a pup. He has a few tricks he's learned from the experimentations as well as his natural hunting instincts as a wolf.


Stealth: Chained didn't necessarily inherit all of this from his experimentation, but it did optimize him somewhat. Where he used to hunt as a pack, he was trained to be a single soldier that could work and act on his own, usually in the form of espionage and head hunting. You will not see him unless he wishes to be seen when he's carrying out his work.
Enhanced speed: He didn't inherit super strength from his experiments, but he did inherit one of three new traits that while two are unique to him...the third is that his speed has recieved a dramatic increase, allowing him to catch up to moving vehicles going over 90MPH


Ghosting: This is one of the thre unique skills he inherited from the experimental processes of his body. With his enhanced speed, his body developes a form of transparency, allowing him to charge through solid objects, living or unliving in design. He calls this technique ghosting and it has a few practical uses in combat, such as the ability to ghost through an enemy combatant and drop his speed at a precise moment to become physical just as the chain around his body is making contact with the opposing person's own...getting them in a rather tricky situation, locking them in place with his body for the kill.


Absorption: This doesn't sound unique given this chat room's affinity for vore and transformation but here is what makes it so. Chained can use the very chains of his body to restrain his prey...expanding them to completely wrap around his victim while he himself forces himself on them. Anyone he manages to lock down with this process will begin to sink into his fur without even the slightest hint of a bulge in his body. Once they've been completely enveloped and have been consumed, his body starts to take character traits of the person in his body, turning him into an anthropomorphized wolf. The draw back to this is the spirit of the prey. An absorption is permenant but temporary at the same time. Once he's absorbed you he cannot release you from his body, but as he is actively siphoning his new form and traits from his prey, their spirits eventually die out and fade away. A portion of them always remains inside of him, strengthening his own soul but it's not enough for him to bring them back to life outside of his own body. Once the spirit has been drained of all it's energy he will revert into a quadropedal wolf once again.
note...this is known as a temporary fusion with the prey becoming a permenant part of his soul once the process is complete. The time he stays as an Anthro varies depending on how strong the spirit his prey is. If they're weak, he can keep them for a few days at most whereas a very strong spirit could last him a couple of years.


Chained does have one last ability he'd inherited from his experimentation. The chains around his body are of a special alloy the organization used in keeping test subjects like himself bound. It cannot be broken despite his enhanced speed and strength from the experimentation, though he was able to loosen the link to the wall so he could break free. These chains respond to it's wearer's wishes...becoming an extra limb so to speak for Chained to use as he pleases. They can also grow and expand as his needs require to ensnare prey that would prove too difficult to capture otherwise.


Lately I've been using this Character more frequently. And there are a few Roleplay scenes that I've been more and more interested in trying out.
1-Chained is prey in this scenario, and he's been captured against his will for a hungry predator or a number of hungry predators. OR -Chained is hunted down by villagers or towns folk who think he is a dangerous wild animal and send poachers to capture him.
2-Chained is mistaken for someones pet or is mistaken for a dog. I know this has been done before, but I think with a wolf that is capable of verbal english communication it would be very humorous.
