 “Solid” might seem a generous term for an anthropomorphic gryphon standing an even six feet tall and weighing in at 175 pounds, but it would probably seem more fitting for a fellow who would be closer to 225 pounds if not for the hollow skeleton. In a realm where odd or even bizarre gryphon variants are fairly commonplace, Charles (or Chaz, as he prefers to go by) takes a certain amount of pride in being a classic bald eagle and lion representative of his kind. As mentioned, his build is fairly solid — not musclebound, not pudgy, and certainly not a pushover. His sharp eyes are a bright golden yellow. He has a deep and soulful voice and a smooth demeanor to match, ever quick with a smile or a wink or a casually playful remark.

 As a gryphon, it’s unsurprising that he does have a predatory side to him. He’s built well enough that he doesn’t always have to take no for an answer, and for particularly delightful morsels he’s quite willing to force the issue when in hungrier moods. That said, he’s decidedly more more of a lover than a fighter, preferring to tease and please someone even while sating his appetite. Though his internal anatomy is generally mammalian — he does not have a crop — his metabolism is distinctly avian; anyone falling prey to the gryphon will wind up burned off in fairly short order, well before they can significantly impact his weight.
