Chieko Mikus is her given name. Being only 14 years of age, she has not been allowed to go into the outside world alone. That is why this young neko girl has been in an orphanage for as long as she can remember.
Her years were spent sitting in her room reading books while the others went outside to play in the sun. While she does not hate the outdoors, her active imagination just found the captivating worlds in pages to be much more interesting than the dirt of the Earth she knows. Even though she does enjoy reading, she is not a bibliophile. She will set down her book if something comes up.
Due to her personal upbringing, her skin is barely touched by the sun, giving it a pale appearance. This also means she is not very physically strong.
Recently, Chieko, or Chi as many call her, was moved to another orphanage. The one she was held in failed a sanitation test, and she, along with all of the others, were moved to various other places. Why was she sent to this particular orphanage, she asked once. What Chi found was quite a surprise.
She has a sister!
Upon arrival, she was introduced to Marie (littleangel), and the two have been together since.
