Background:
A craftsgnoll with a penchant for making toys and tools by hand. In particular known for using ironwood or dark wood. Nowadays while trying to be on good terms with people he has taken to using antlers or animal bone. In particular he has a fondness for making toys or game pieces with these materials.

History:
Chipper was very odd and unorthodox for a gnoll. With a society based on killing, eating, and/or killing everyone and everything that is weaker and less numerous than them he was more interested in creation. Taking a set of craftsmans tools he went to work at first making bows and arrows for his tribe. Secretly though he was making little toys or knicknacks since he thought they looked interesting.

He also always had an interest in the humans and elves outside of his Tribal areas. While he wanted to learn their language they weren't so inclined to teach for a while. Even so he learned a good deal, namely insults, derogatory terms, and the meaning of the word "loose!"

Then one day he heard of a "big chief" who thought like him, to make things, farm, and trade rather than the nihilistic death dealing that was the conservative gnoll way. He joined the big chief along with his brother who believed that he could be a good trader. Finding their way into one of the less aggressive tribes they made names for themselves among gnolls kind for their combined expertise.

Personality:
Chipper is a very friendly and open gnoll. This isn't to say they he expects the same friendliness in other people. That being said he also believes wholeheartedly in the idea of creation, profit, and coexsitance with one's neighbors the "Big Chiefdom" (or Confederacy as non-gnolls prefer to call it) espouses. He even swears to shake off eating sentient life... Unless said entity WANTS to be eaten. Hospitality is something sacred to him and will treat any guests in wherever he stays with the utmost care and generosity available.

Needless to say he feels no empathy or compunction to show mercy to an enemy. In his eyes they are simply walking corpses or even potential food anyway. With this in mind terrible fates await those who incur his wrath.

He also has a fondness for "cubs," often seen doting on them and can be extremely protective and fatherly to them. Of course he is also prone to responding with excessive violence in the case of deliberate harm to a child. He once even suggested killing all the men of another gnoll tribe over
their initiation of a raid where they specifically targeted women and children.

Skills:
Chipper is highly intelligent for a gnoll and has shown in through his interest in creation over destruction. In addition he displays a curiosity and willingness to learn about other people in a very childlike way, enabling him to learn about languages other than gnoll.
