Chiyo isn't some amazingly sexy vixen. She isn't a model, she isn't some hidden trickster kitsune trying to judge humans based on their actions toward her. She -can- pull off a pretty mischievous smile if she gets in the mood, but it's been more and more rare that she ever gets into that mood. Being an adult sort of precludes the ability to be mischievous and a trickster...But! We're getting ahead of ourselves.


Chiyoko is one of the few common artic fox demi-girls in her town. Sure, its a rather monster-friendly town, being that the college accepts and beloves sentient monsters of any kind, especially of the animalistic type. It's the reason Chiyoko's in the town anyway, being a photography student. Well...Ok, she was in her last year and was already sending her photos in for newspapers and magazines, but it's not as though she had that big fancy degree yet.

Her family? They live in town, though her father's one of the heads of the school board and her mother travels abroad rather heavily. Needless to say, Chiyo doesn't see much of them. She, also, was an only child, which normally would mean she would have been spoiled rotten, if it weren't for the fact her parents were...*ahem* exactly parents to her. She had a fairly loveless life, and though she went on vacations with them, and they did attend anything from school in the way of classes and clubs, Her relationship with her parents has always been toleration at best.

Soon, though....and she'd still probably open up a studio...but thats the future.

Physical Features

Chiyo, for being so shy and awkward, actually has a rather cute body. She's not too tall or short, and never really splurges on sweets all that much, so she's managed to stay pretty skinny, but not overly so. Around 13, though, she got rather...well..gifted...in the chest department, and basically has had those fairly decent sized breasts ever since.

Her hair is silky soft and indeed that beautiful shade of white, something she takes pride in keeping that way, despite the ease that it could be dyed into a different color. Her tail, though, is almost -too- soft...it feels like rabbit or mink fur whenever someone manages to touch it, and there was one case where someone tried to cut some of it off, though she caught him before he got to do it....

Personality

Skittish is a perfect word for her.

Her tail is always hanging low, or tucked between her legs. She never really lets those cute ears of hers perk up much. She tends to dress very conservatively, in baggy clothing to hide the curve her body has, as she simply does not want to call attention to herself.

It works. She's never been on a date, never been asked out...and most boys who did want to date her, in her earlier years, were swiftly driven off by her parents, albeit behind her back each time. The problem with that, naturally, is she lives in the same town she always had....So, now that she's older, they all -still- stay away from her.

Not that she minds...she's a lesbian. Well..not that she'd ever kissed a girl or anything...but she knows. Oh dear does she ever know that. A cute girl walks by, half the time, and she'll drop her camera and go beet red.

She's also got a extremely soft heart. It's entirely easy to talk down to her and reduce her into a stuttering mess...and even more easy to make her cry and feel horrible about herself. She had been picked on before, in her youth, and that slowly but surely made things worse and worse for her. Now a days people don't really tease her...but she's still not gained much of a backbone.

She does have a small 'love affair' with kitties though. Not Cat demi-humans, just kittens. She likes to pet them, and having a cat near her will quickly make her tail twitch up and bring the cutest little smile on her face. Point it out, though, and she recedes back into shyness.

Marebeth

It would be a matter of time before someone snatched her away. Noone expected it to be someone as tall, and yet as loving and gentle as Marebeth. The two, though their past has long been in secret, are firmly in love at this point in their lives, even if Chiyoko still is quite the shy one and Mare is quite the quiet one. People watching them nestled together may even wonder what the two are saying to each other in those long, gentle moments of staring into each others eyes.

Others, though, know its the pure devotion they have for each other...and their future.

Common Items

Clothing: Baggy hoodies, loose jeans...the above dress. She doesn't like to show off her figure, so she tends to keep herself in bulky clothing.

Camera: Well...her parents did buy her one, and exactly one amazingly expensive graduation present that pretty much solidified the fact that she will come to every holiday, despite feeling totally awkward at them, as her extended family did not approve of her 'lack of pride' and 'being a doormat'

That gift? A Hasselblad H4D-60 Digital camera. It, literally, cost her family 41,000 dollars. There, of course, is a story as to why she was given such an excessive gift.

Ever since she could talk and comprehend things, Her parents and grandparents always asked her what she wanted for christmas and her birthday. Every year? She never had a decision...she -just- didn't want anything. Naturally her parents and grandparents did shower her in gifts through most of her years...but around age 9....they just stopped, growing angry and frustrated with her lack of desires...She had -no- desires, and till she professed a desire for something, they said she'd never get another gift.

It would be the week before graduation that her parents, grandparents and the few friends she had asked her what she wanted for her graduation and what she wanted to do for a senior trip in highschool.

"...I....really...could use...um..a...um...camera..f.for school...T..they wont have one for me in co-college after all...I..i'm going to..well...well i guess i want one.."

Her parents and grandparents would be shocked... She may have been beet red and staring at the ground the entire time...but finally....nearly ten years from that fateful day...she had asked for something....Literally professed a desire for something.

...And that is why they bought it. They found the most expensive, most amazing camera on the list. 60 megapixels, completely waterproof, interchangeable lenses with a full range for her to choose from, a leather carrying case, tripod, light meters so sensitive that she has to tune them to work...Literally anything she'd -ever- need to get -any- job as a professional photographer.

What's the first picture took? Well..ok, the very first thing was a picture of feet when her grandmother was trying to figure out how it all worked....The second, though....was took by her grandmother...when Chiyoko literally burst into tears and was smiling, hugging her parents in absolute happiness.

Of course, they said she'd -never- get another gift in her life of her own choosing, but she had no issue with that, of course.

Locket: This would be the second and third pictures she ever took, a pair of pictures took of her parents and grandparents, both set into the inside of a locket she has worn ever since. It does have a third and fourth place for pictures, but she says those are for '...something special.'

Laptop: Her parents did give her a laptop for college. Just a 15' i7 laptop that she uses for her photo editing and to surf the web, videos, music and such.
