Long ago a deal was made between the various voracious creatures and the regular population. The voracious had grown tired of people who more or less tasted the same, and their prey had grown tired of losing all of their loved ones. So a curse was placed upon a girl to make her far more delicious and delectable than any other, and set her lose into the world, giving the voracious something to hunt. And she would be a challenge, for not only would she be tastier, but she would be stronger, faster, and even capable of eating some of them, even though previously she couldn't. Eventually, the first girl fell prey to a monster, devoured mercilessly, sating the monster's unquellable hunger. But that wasn't the end. For while the girl was dead and gone, her steaming remains left in the jungle for all to see, the curse itself wouldnt die, and would seek refuge in another, making her the next Chosen One, giving her powers, though making her again, incredibly delicious.

Every voracious creature alive has likely heard the tales of the Chosen One, though few have ever tasted her, due to one of them being smart, and actually died of old age-though that didn't kill the curse. So for the first time in nearly a century, the Chosen One is out there again, a delectable meal, just waiting for the right predator. And who is she now?

Lo and behold! 2 Chosen Ones?!?! Something strange has happened, and a new Chosen One was created without Syd dying. Something suspicious seems to be going on. So if Syd isn't alone, the other girl is...
