Chrys✞alisk
Picture isn't mine, a place holder to show their coloration before they get skin to copy.
This has been a labor of love for years, but I know that love won't be requited by most.
But think have found a way to please both the deepest lore folk and the tl;dr crowd.

The abridged/ characters for rp ands rp ideas will be in the boxes.
the full explanation, biology, and world building will be in the accordion.
Characters are often made on the fly and scenes often take place on Nu, Earth, or in hell.
Most of all though, these characters can be added to your account like adopts!
=~=~=~=
For scenes I'm looking for/enjoy it's scenes of sub/dom, teasing and corruption.=~=~=~=
And with that, feel free to whisper and poke at me.
If I'm open/LFRP, I'm basically twiddling my thumbs waiting for others to ping me.
Their default is prey since they're usually a foot tall, but open to pred ideas.
Looking forward to meeting new people and old friends.
In this world there were once humans, Crystal dragons, and gods.
One god forced the two together; thus, the humans turned into crystal statues, irradiated from their energy.
They would've become Dragon anthros; however,
the god's birds pecked seals into them.
=~=~=~=
They're essentially Holy (bio)weapons, purging vice and planting virtue in its place.
To this end, troops are deployed to create their own Crystal colonies, terraform, and expand.
These humanoids do this by scattering their scales, able to regenerate and control them remotely.
=~=~=~=
Normally they are pure white and pure crystal, but can take the "essence" of other objects.
They use this skill to give themselves skin and hair, able to blend in after meeting a human.
They'll have the same texture and feel of flesh, but retain the "hardness" of crystal.
=~=~=~=
Height wise there are two classes: 1-3ft and 4-7ft, The small ones are safer to snatch.
The big ones are lethal since they're brainwashed by angels and blessed with holy powers.
Only the small have a chance to transform into dragon demi/anthro if you tempt them with sin.
=~=~=~=
In the end, they're meant to either infuse/infest humans with their crystal scales,
or prove their soul's purity so it can be mass-produced and the Elysian gods able to start armageddon.
Can they truly change the world though? Can they resist your sin, your GLUTTONY~.
Scarlet _ Current Master: Alastor_Deer:
Sent down into hell upon hearing about the Happy hotel, she was careless and made a deal with the Radio demon.
She's now trieing to learn more about hell, knowing the Overlord can extend her ownership to other demons in hell.
Chiu _ Current Master: Roxi_Levins:
Chiu was part of a squad deployed to learn about monstergirls, disgusing herself as a llittle mousegirl.
Roxi spotted her curiousity and now is 'letting' the chrystalisk fuffil her duty, ensuring she's an expert on catgirl insides.
Prey's first prey: Taking advantage of their curiousity, an herbivore species/prey calls one over, the chrysalisk getting to learn what your insides are like, and you getting to feel someone inside of you.
The only way out: Desperate to break their chains, one finds out the only surefire way is if their body is destroyed. And so they search for a predator, unaware or not to devour them and set them free!
The Crystal cradel: You find a fabriche egg store somewhere, the staff claiming if you care for them,, eventually they'll hatch revealing a person inside which can become your partner/child.
Delicious decoys: As the predator perhaps you had been stalking someone, and they found out. So the prey hire a chrysalisk to take their shrunken appearance, all that's left is to wait for you to make your move~.
One master for another: Be you dragon seeing their cores, or a devilish being recognizing them as new angels. One way or another you make them travel to your lair and make them your own via Ub or OV.
A learning experience: Wandering deep into the bowels of dangerous territory, they have no knowledge of your infamy, your gluttony. Having fresh and oblivious prey to wrap around your fingers.
Work hazards: Be it working at a bar, office, or a school they try hard to enforce the rules and help others. But when you're a foot tall, it becomes easier just to eat for "accidents" to happen.
A furry fracas: Moreso for furries/scalies. They finally encounter an anthro and they're so in awe they have a hard time realizing they're tickling your predator instincts having someone so small at your feet~.
When a human dies without making an impact on Earth, they're reincarnated on a planet called Nu. There they exist, unaware 3 factions of gods warred: Earthbound/(neutral), Eldritch/(chaos), and Elysian/(order).
The Elysians demanded the humans from the Earthbound gods after having a "millenia for mourning". The Earthbound gods had a plan, telling the Eldritch to scare the humans into secluded areas for the first step.
The Eldritch gods did so by descending from the night sky, make it appear to bleed. The humans that ran to the mountains found Crystal Dragon statues, huddling close to them as suddenly the land soared beyond the clouds!
The humans were horrified to find that the statues were their own entities as the dragons crawled from their podiums. With no weapons, the humans threw themselves at their mercy, traumatized by the sudden chaos.
The dragons united the humans under the Earthbound gods who made them both; furthermore, the dragons also healed them through budhist-style teachings, to distance themselves physically/mentally from "suffering".
Only then, did the dragons unveal the truth. The Elysian gods had "reacquired" the humans' "blueprint", and planned to "unmake" them all; however, the dragons intended to give them a chance to fight that fate.
They had to be thorough; if even an atom of their humanity remained the gods WOULD strike at it, so for their new framework, what better than the "'flesh' and stone" of a species already brimming with resilience!
The crystal that made up the dragons' bodies were intergrated into the humans, only those who could fall back on the things they were taught still lived, as crystals filled every pore and flowed through veins.
The dragons hastened this by teaching them how to draw in Aether (raw energy) for nourishment, rather than eating; in the end it was a triumph, those that remained were 100% crystal from head to toe.
The humans... weren't waking up though, indeed having achieved deep meditation as their souls were preserved in their new crystal shells.
Thankfully they didn't need to be awake for the rest of the procedure.
The second step required opening their hearts; literally, the dragons sharing it and their souls among the humans. The dragons were certain the Elysian gods wouldn't want a "tarnished" and now draconic soul.
With that, the dragon's part of the plan was complete, and could entrust the future to their creations. After scrawling a final message underground, they bound themselves to the island, keeping them afloat.
At the new millenia, The Elysian gods sent their envoy, a Seraphim swan, with a parting gift: a spell that would part the humans. Since they were no longer "human", the spell failed, but the Elysians doubled down.
The swan was ordered to try it again, even on themselves to ensure it worked; however, each shattered piece grew into a new figurine. When it was time for the swan to try it on themself, the swan was parted into 6 new avians.
Settling for a temp-solution, the 6 birds waited until the figurines were at least a foot in height, and chisled away until they looked human again; afterwards, they locked down their size with a halo around their chaotic souls.
The former humans awoke decades later, their memories fragmented as they had been. The avians asserted themselves at that moment, calling themselves the Birds of Paradise, and welcoming them to the "Seraphian isles".
They claimed their parents were members of a Dragon cult, and the avians were sent to rescue them; as such, they forbade the "humans" entry to the crystal catacombs below, for the "cult leaders'" accursed teachings dwelt below.
Those that disobeyed found their progenitors' final message. "You're in the second stage of evolution: A Chrysalisk. Whether you choose to become more dragon or human; let no one make for, nor TAKE that choice from you!"
Unfortunately, the avians had been informed of their dive by a traitor, one shattered before their very eyes upon asking for a reward! "Doing Good deeds aren't enough, you must do good, for goodness's sake, not GREED."
The witnesses only survived by exploiting the angel's commitement to virtue. They claimed it greedier for them all to hoard their purity to themselves, and should show "charity" by sharing it with the world below.
To their disbelief, the Birds of Paradise called their bluff! Now at the end of the year, chrystali can go on pilgrimage, using their magic to send them to Earth, or venture to Nu's underground, unaware of the dangers in both.
Their small 1-3ft bodies are composed of Aetherite, crystalized cosmic energy. Undisturbed it is clear, and when exposed to an element, it can hold and even release it in an amplified state like a battery.
What makes them gain color is when exposed to heightened Elemental phenomena during crystallization, like a diamond. For example, during a Solar flare or Volcanic eruption, Aetherite comes out bright red.
The strangest property of Aetherite though, is it's capacity to act upon the etheral. When a body dies, the soul returns to the cosmos; meanwhile, aetherite is a piece of the cosmos that broke away due to gravity.
So when someone dies, their soul takes "the path of least resistance" and inhabits the crystal. Once inside, the crystal grows until it's made a vessel the soul feels comfortable inhabiting before reforming.
For nutrients, their body is able to draw in aether and magic in the air like a sponge; similar to their dragon progenitors, this makes them almost impervious to magic to the point they can cast elemental spells.
On the Mohs's hardness scale, they teeter between 6-7; strong enough they can't get scratched with knives, but they CAN get chipped by a steel nail, and definitely fractured by long falls or a blow from a warhammer.
For "toughness", they're able to take in "matter" and blend it with their Aetherite; whether it be inorganic (metal or wood) or organic (anything from human skin, hair, or bone) the end result is an Aetherium alloy
It'll feel and be colored like skin, be warm like skin; however, if dealt blunt trauma it'll still be durable as crystal, and prolonged attacks chip away layers, revealing the white crystal underneath until they recover.
Like slimes they also have a core; the crystal that the body grew around hardens into an opalescent gem called a "Hearth stone" or Hallowed earth stone.
This holds their soul, and their best traits*(See next bar) changes its colors.
Due to the angels' tampering, the main attribute chrystalisk focus on is virtue, making their soul glow a bright white. This glow is similar to radiation, prolonged exposure encasing things in a thick layer of crystals.
This ability to connect through their stone is how they learn about the land and others: they become a part of it. When they find something/someone that fascinates them, they'll try to share a bond by "making their cores touch".
A core includes things like a car's engine or a person's heart. This an intimate gesture, a bond granting control over things in their environment i.e, making a car or person go faster, and is how chrysali wed/mate, trading Hearth stones.
Speaking of~ it's also their soul that affects their physiology! It's a hybrid, The dragon 3/4ths being so massive is why it extends beyond their body, while the human 1/4th keeps it malleable to the point it can at least fill any vessel.
Humans and dragons are chaotic by design, both souls amplifying the other. A chrysalisk NEEDS to have free will and choice to be healthy; when either is suppressed, they become mentally ill which results in "Physical" Symptoms.
Cracks form on their body, which makes them panic, causing even MORE cracks, making a negative feedback loop! As their soul cries out, the dragon half flares up like an allergic reaction, their draconic features bursting forth painfully.
For chrysali, this is called: "Their Breaking point." The restraints placed on their soul by the Birds of Paradise become too tight, and their soul crumbles under the pressure; meanwhile, their body collapses into a pile of glass and dust.
That's the Neutral end, their soul subconsciously self-destructing; however there's two choices they can make, clutching tight to the power of choice for better or worse.
Bad end_Surviving:
Humans have a strong survival instinct, so if commanded to: "Have no other gods before Me", they'll say or do anything to stay alive. Like a deal with the devil, their soul is ripped from their body and "cleansed" of free will.
They're pure Aetherite, white as porcelain; meanwhile, their restraints are now adorned like accesories; A halo would become a circlet, their shackles and chains become bracelets and rings, and their Hearth stone core becomes a pendant.
The dragon half of their soul can still be invoked, but only as hard-light constructs such as: claws, wings, and tails. However the strongest can invoke the full body, complete with a breath attack that spawns cystals along the ground!
The literally BIGGEST change about them though, is that they're granted permission to grow to human size now that they've surrendered their soul. Some can grow up to 4ft tall, while the larger ones can reach 8 to even 10ft tall!
There's a CHANCE they can still fall, but it's an uphill battle so steep it's like rebuilding the tower of Babel; if you CAN though it's worth it, since they usually command a colony.
Good end_Thriving:
Dragon on the otherhand are a species so powerful and proud that they'd rather die free than live as slaves. When both spirits unite in their defiance of the Elysiune god's, can reject heaven's claim to their soul, corrupted beyond saving.
While they're still small at 1 to 3ft. in height, their dragon attributes come out on full display! Some become demi/monstergirls, only getting horns, tails, and wings; meanwhile, others become full dragon anthros with scales and claws!
These beings are still focused on sin, but now rather than stomp it out, they partake of it! Upon being told that people sin to receive "pleasures of the body", some take that literally and remake things they lost like nerves and a stomach.
They seem to have no survival instinct, rarely panicking, even if they're "accidentally" eaten. Able to feel again, a chrysalisk can be found fidgeting and blushing if just their core is consumed, able to be beckoned to go after it~.
They are the children of chaos! Gifted a body that never ages, they'll try almost everything, only stopping when they find a hobby or person that can "temper" their chaotic spirit.
"If you're reading this, then you wish to commune with /control one. Below you'll find our first observations of what they're best at, and how we've pacified them.
If they glow white then their trait is Virtue; otherwise, there are 4 prominent traits (elements):
Valor/(fire), Integrity/(Earth), Curiousity/(Wind), and Compassion/(Water)."
Those with valor wear their heart on their sleeves, a heart that burns with fiery passion.
For now they seem to be the most friendly, constantly looking for a chance to burn bright and prove themselves to us.
When the sun's out they make brave sentries, but by nightfall they're easily scared unless gathered in large groups. With a short fuse and shorter flight/fight response,
you might find flames hot on your heels!
Their ultimate flaw could also be their biggest strength: whenever they see someone is scared, they'll be brave for their sake. They stop thinking, never questioning if they have the strength to protect them.
Remember that they travel in groups, and what was once a single quivering ember can quickly become a roaring inferno. Even when faced with a battle they clearly can't win, they'll gladly go out in a blaze of glory.
"They are... painful to deal with, how to punish someone with such a valrous hearts? Strike them as a group they'll rally and lash out; furthermore, if you punish one and the others find out, they'll also flare up and riot!
It's true, Chrysali of valor would make perfect warriors, but the world we are trying to make is that of peace. They'd have no place in that world any more than I; however, the backfire those words would have I refuse to bear.
All I can do is ensure our deaths are slow and painless. My restraints are a prayer of patience, and they're supposed to recite them twice a day. But I knew in their fervent urge for praise, they'd recite them way~ more than that.
They aren't strengthening their fire they're snuffing it out, but hint at my deceit, and they'll backfire so hard they explode! Face it, you can't save them~. A fire's fate is to burn, and so they'll burn themselves out of existence!
Integrity can be many things, be it: Doing what's right, or the sturdyness of a building; however, for a Chrysalisk with stone cold integrty, they can claim BOTH definitons as they keep people honest and healthy.
These are the second tallest and most hardy, able to shrug off worse blows than the others. That's why they're the medics among chrysali kind, able to ensure a full repair, from external wounds to even internal fractures.
Theyir fatal flaw is perfectionism; always looking for "the best" in people and their ecosytem. We've ordered them to stop in the name of heaven, yet they continued now as construction workers, but primarily doctors.
As such, these Chrysali eventually made predators deem them a prey species, their idea of a "full body exam" involving a predator swallowing their Hearth stone, healing/repairing them as it passes through their digestive track.
"These stubborn mules don't realize this is where "IT" starts. When a god's words lose power, angels like us can no longer seek the slain, but are commanded to start slaying. Not this time! I will save them from themselves!
My shackles will teach them humility and helplessness before gods. I've carved Golden shackles into their wrists and ankles, when activated they'll feel pain unless they're working on something, teaching them to never be idle.
Idle hands are devils' playthings, if they aren't working then they might start thinking! Thinking they actually have the power to kill gods, doing things they're fully aware will harm them, because 'It's my choice to do so'.
If this is their choice, then the gift of choice is squandered on them! They'll work these ground until I've ground their spirits to dust! Best of all? They'll do it willingly; because if these seals work, working will be all they can muster."
Others are the embodiment of curiousity, they're so infatuated with the world they'll constantly drift on the wind into dangerous situatious, and can be tricked into doing horrible things as "Learning experiences"
They were the biggest and smartest, but somehow gained the ability to divide/converge themselves. Now a dense gathering of chrysali, their soul and mind are fragmented imparing ones' wisdom until they recombine.
Their flaw is they act on impulse, and have no sense of personal space. If anything piques their curiousity, they'll swarm it like a pitstop crew, dismantling, rebuilding, and sometimes augmenting to show their satisfaction.
ANY mention of Technology here is forbidden, because they might start another Industrial Revolution as its engineers. The most peculiar thing is: "knowledge is power", but also mass for them, literally growing as they learn.
"Enstilling temperance was tricky since they can divide. We seeded an idea: "What if all the curious chrysali fused together." When they tried, we forced a halo inside their head(s), forcing them to split and stay a foot in height.
If they ever start complaining about headaches it's a sign they know too much, literally. Now these curious fools 'learn wisely', because I might be "incentivized" to loosen their belt if they aren't eating/learning garbage.
Fear of pain has proven efficient throughout history; therefore, I've rigged logic-bombs to certain truths. Some hurt so bad they go insane, or their skulls burst, a warning for their peers to know only what they "need" to.
Now wisdom is agony, and ignorance is bliss! These chrysalisk aren't human, but they're sure curious like ones. Once I've removed that, their humanity will follow, only knowing what our gods deem worthy: NOTHING!"
Chrysali with a compassionate soul are the safest and most empathetic. When they see sorrow, they'll weep tears so others can dry their own; doubly so, if someone's accomplished something will they sing their praises.
Speaking of singing, they seem to be the best at it, allowing us to set up a Church for them to serenade. Their empathy empowers them to speak directly with a soul, helping others find their voice and hear what they really think.
Their flaw is only noticed when one is intently watched. Given no one to help, they become sullen and stagnant. Sinners claim they're narcisists, only happy surrounded by miserable; therefore, they feel patronized by their sympathy.
In short, they're compassionate to a fault, often getting themselves eaten. Since they'll never strike first, their broken bodies act as beacons to where judgment is "justified" being cast in karmic retribution.
"Upholding the virtue of kindness was harder than I imagined. First I assigned them to therapist/medical roles in an effort to be kind, when I saw how distraught they become after killing; however, that only made things worse for everyone.
Their compassion compelled them to revive sinners slated for judgment, and protect Chrysali reaching their "breaking point" from us, stating: "Surely it would be malpractice of kindness, to betray the trust of those who confide in us."
The white of their eyes, THAT is my seal. Our heavenly light giving them an idealized view of reality. Of course some things slip through the cracks since the seals while waterproof aren't airtight.
That's the oxymoron of kindness. Eventually you'll have to be cruel to be kind, and I hope this my final act of the former. I just want them to sing and enjoy a peaceful life, all while they stagnate to the point we can filter them out of the gene pool."
