BIOGRAPHY LOGS
Samus aran, the galaxys greatest bounty hunter. The sole survivor of a Human colony on planet K-2L, Samus was found by a race of birdlike people called the chozo. through many years of rigorous training, she has become one of the most feared and respected bounty hunters in all the universe. Clad in an identity-concealing suit of power armor, Countless times, she has thwarted the efforts of the space pirates efforts to harness a life form called metroids, which have the ability to turn even the most hardy of creatures into lifeless husks.
In her many adventures, she has rid the galaxy of a highly dangerous substance called "phazon," which corrupts and mutates its hosts into horrifying monstrocities. She also was the sole individual responsible for the genocide of most of the metroid species, save for one infant metroid, which saved her life against a final battle against the space pirates.
one fateful day, Samus was sent to SR-388, former home of the metroids, on a mission to collect specimins for use on board the biologic reasearch station (BSL)
It is here she was attacked by an otherwise harmless-looking froglike creature called a homoad. samus easily dispatched it. however, from its remains, a new threat emerged: a strange, bloblike creature simply called X. it infected samus and nearly killed her. however, the BSL were able to save samus thanks to a vaccine created from the cells of x's only known predator: the metroid. in order to administer the vaccine, large portions of her suit were surgically removed and placed under quarrentine. after the ordeal, samus was called to deal with the x parasite using her new powers of consuming them. the x-parasite has the ability to absorb lifeforms and copy them or mutate them, turning friend into foe. in a long battle that ended with the lab completely overrun with x and sent crashing into SR388.
during this mission, it was made apparent that the federation she has long since assisted became corrupted. wishing to clone metroids and weaponize the SA-X, she cut ties with them and is branded a terrorist for destroying the bsl and Sr388 to keep both out of the federations hands. sometime later, video footage has been leaked from an anonymous source that the x survived the bsl incident. planet zdl is their apparent breeding grounds. she races over to zdl to destroy the x parasite and the robots the federation sent to collect said x parasites...
upon her arrival, she was attacked by a mysterious chozo and left for dead in the depths of zdr. as she explored, she eventually meets a second, friendlier chozo scientist named quiet robe. he revealed that back on sr388. the metroids were difficult to control, so the chozo that engineered them called upon a warrior tribe of chozo called the mawkin to assist in sealing them and destroying the planet. their leader, raven beak, wished to use the metroids as a weapon of war to conquer the universe. he and his tribe promptly executed most of the scientists, sparing quiet robe as he has limited control of metroids. after retelling this story to samus, he was promptly executed by a robotic chozo soldier. shortly after, samus makes a startling descovery: the video footage was indeed real. the x parasites were offworld long before she came to sr388. raven beak, who was her assailent at the start
of her mission to zdr was the sole survivor of the mawkin tribe. one of his warriors became infected during their visit to sr388 and assimilated the rest by the time they got to zdr. they were successfully quarenteened in a remote location on zdr, which samus stumbled upon. within minutes of escaping, the x overran the planet, also infecting the remains of quiet robe. raven beak was safely off-world in his ship hovering just out of reach for the x. ulimately, samus awakens
her metroid dna against the last EMMI unit, exactly as raven beak planned. samus fought to the hideout of raven beak. all through this, adam has been acting strange. never once calling her lady, seemingly the president of raven beaks fan club. then when samus boards raven beaks vessal, it was revealed the entire time since samus first encountered raven beak, she lost contact with adam, and the "adam" she was following
turned out to have been raven beak manipulating her. a final battle then breaks out, raven beak revealing one final thing: he was among the donors of samus's chozo dna! after a long fight of seemingly gaining the upper hand, raven beak grabs samus. but then, samus snapped. suddenly, her suit morphed into something resembling a humanoid metroid. with a scream that the whole planet could hear, her metroid powers awakened at last. the last metroid is choking a bitch. raven beak loses control of his ship, causing it to crash down to the planet below. almost immediately, the x parasites took advantage of this and assimilated raven beak, turning him into a freakish monstrocity that was easily destroyed by samus's newfound metroid power. after running to her ship, she found she couldnt use it without draining it of energy. then, in a twist of irony, the x mimic of quiet robe showed itself.
rather than attacking samus, he bowed and willingly let himself be absorbed, causing her suit to revert to normal and calming samus's bloodlust. before she could ponder this, she managed to escape.
after the mission, she has discovered an unintended side effect of the metroid vaccine: she was hungry. as a result, she ate and ate and ate... and gained a bunch of weight as a result. her power suit is able to hide this. during a mission where she had to track down a gang wanted by the federation, she has discovered how to put her appetite to use: the chozo dna augmented her strength, and the metroid vaccine not only increased her appetite, but able to eat just about anything. so as a result, she gulped down her quarry, finding they tasted good. she also grew aware of a place called the nexus, a realm that links other possible realities to her own, curious to see what she would be like in other realities.
with these new powers, samus took her bounty hunting to new levels, as most quarrys are wanted dead or alive, she would eat whoever was unfortunate enough to be her bounty, and collect the rewards. the federation is completely unaware of samus' new pasttime as an apex predator, and has taken to strutting around cities wearing nothing but the outfit you see pictured, looking for prey.
it should be noted, however, samus is far from heartless; only showing her metroid side to truely unrepentant monsters, and she tries to control herself if the bounty requires her to bring them alive, or if said bounty genuinely shows her they are willing to reform. in both cases, she still eats her bounty, but prevents them from being harmed.
off-duty, she goes under an assumed identity of linda "Queen Metroid" hunt, or Justina Bailey (longtime fans may get the joke of the latter). as a professional pornstar and model.
The Power Suit - Gifted to her by the wise and spiritual Chozo race, The suit itself is highly sophistocated and modular. It is bonded to samus and cannot be removed without samus's permission. It enables life support, enhanced strength and agility, and the ability to breathe underwater or breathe in the vacuum of space. however, it's greatest strength is the ability to be upgraded and enhanced through chozo tech, allowing samus new abilities and making her stronger overall. it runs on energy units - every time the suit takes a hit drains some of its energy reserves. when the energy hits zero, the suit powers down and distintegrates, leaving samus in a vulnerable state until she can gather enough energy to summon her suit again.
Enhancements:
SUITS
Varia suit: increased shielding with resistance to extreme heat and cold. given samuses newfound metroid dna, resistance to cold is a MUST. while this allows samus to enter heated areas, it does not protect against being submerged in magma.
Gravity suit: an even further increase in shielding that negates gravity changes. samus can enter liqiud without any loss of movement. it also completely negates lava damage. however, superheated acid can still hurt samus. allows for speed booster, space jump, and screw attack to all be used in liquid or magma unhindered.
Fusion suit: a result of samus's dna being significantly altered due to the metroid vaccine. as a result of now having metroid dna, samus is now vulnerable to cold temperatures. however, upgrades from the varia suit negate this. this also gives samus her voracious appetite.
UAM suit: this changes the fusion suits colors to match the regular power suit colors. it also enables use of the ice beam without harm to samus
metroid suit: the form samus took when at her absolute limits against raven beak. capable of absorbing the life of those in contact with her. she cannot control this power presently, so she keeps it inactive unless absolutely necessary.
Justin Bailey suit: a suit which hides her armor and her weight if she needs it to. gives her the appearence of a slender woman in whatever samus was wearing beneath her armor (either her bikini, her leotard, shorts and sports bra, thong with tank top, civilian clothes, or her zero suit) if samus chooses, she can appear in her bbw form. this suit allows for samus to still have all her power suit functions while appearing like any normal human. great for stealth.
bbw justin bailey suit: same as above, but without the weight concealing.
zero suit: an undersuit that she sometimes wears, unless wearing the justin bailey suit, will appear completely overweight. however, even while she is plump and without her gear, she is still incredibly athletic, and carries a small pistol which incapacitates prey for easy eating.
Bikini - just a regular red bikini. unless wearing the justin bailey suit, it will function like the zero suit
thong and tank top: see bikini.
MOVEMENT ENHANCEMENTS:
speed Booster - allows samus to run at near supersonic speeds. covers great distances and also smashes through certain walls.
space jump: gives samus the ability to jump indefinitely, allowing flight. stacks with screw attack
screw attack, gives samus the ability to turn her somersaults into a deadly electrical attack which heavily damages her target. stacks with space jump.
high jump boots: says what it does on the tin. augments samus's already superhuman jumping prowess to roughly twice the amount. also enables jumping in morph ball mode.
morph ball: rolls samus into a compact sphere. even while fat, the morph balls size does not change. useful for fitting through tight cracks. how does she do it?!
spider ball: allows the morph ball to stick to surfaces and move along them.
Grappling beam: allows samus to latch onto blocks and swing across chasms. doubles as a weak electric attack.
WEAPON SYSTEMS
Power beam: the basic beam with no additional functions. it does however, stack with the long, charge, ice, wave, wide, spazer and plasma beams.(see below.)
long beam: without it samus can only fire a few feet in front of her, aquired very early in her career and is considered a base power suit feature.
Charge beam: charges the power beam to an even stronger blast, can also use beam combos!
ice beam: allows for samus to freeze enemies and use them as stepping stones. increases power beam strength. unusable unless wearing the UAM suit.
wave beam: allows the power beam to pass through walls. increases beam strength.
wide beam: allows for three shots at once, increasing range significantly. increases beam power.
spazer beam: same as wide, but cant be stacked with plasma.
plasma beam: the most powerful natural beam samus can have. pierces through enemies. increases beam power. cannot stack with spazer.
Bomb: usable in morph ball mode, lays a weak bomb. used to throw enemies off while in morph ball mode
Missiles: ballistic missiles used to open hatches and pierce armored foes. some foes resist this if their hide is thick enough
super missiles: ballistic missiles used to open hatches and pierce heavily armored foes. few resist this. if charged enough and used in conjunction with the ice, wave, or plasma beams allow for type b beam combos.
ice missiles: a fusion of ice beam and missile technology, usually reserved for when samus cannot access her ice beam upgrade.
diffusion missiles: an upgrade for the ice missiles, charges to unleash a massive ice blast that covers a wide area that freezes anything within said area.
power bomb: usable in morph ball mode. lay it and it functions as a nuke that damages everything in its range except allies and samus herself.
also used as a componant along with the charge beam for type a beam combos.
Hyper beam: the most powerful beam of all! a rainbow colored beam that goes through walls, enemies, and is utterly devastating. use as last resort.
Unknown beam: came with the metroid suit. is a massive superlaser that incinerates..... everything. presently, cannot be used outside of her metroid form, so can only be used as a last resort.
BEAM COMBOS: TYPE A.
ice: Four ice bolts will circle around Samus for a brief time. If she runs into an enemy, they will break one at a time against it, the first one freezing it in place. Each bolt deals the same amount of damage as a charged shot of the Ice Beam. Samus cannot fire again until after all four bolts have either been used or dissipated.
wave: Four wave bolts will cross erratically around Samus. They can be aimed after firing the weapon.
spazer: Two large spazer bolts will circle around Samus before heading up into the air. A rain of sparks will descend, striking enemies all over the screen.
plasma:Four ring-shaped plasma bolts spiral around Samus. They spread out, contract back toward Samus, and then shoot off to the corners of the screen.
BEAM-TYPE COMBOS, TYPE B.
Wavebuster: a sustained beam of purple energy. (wave beam)
ice spreader: coats whatever it touches in a thick layer of ice. so cold that even magma can be frozen! (ice beam)
flamethrower: a short-ranged, sustained, burst of fire! used to melt ice, and lighting camp fires! (plasma beam)
MISC.
x-ray visor: allows samus to scan through walls to uncover hidden or invisible things. there is no hiding from this. great for bounty hunting.
Samus's starship: a personal ship that serves as samus's base of operations and living quarters. also has plasma lasers and missiles for defensive and offensive options. comes equiped with a recharge station for samus, located in the medical bay. has an on-board ai modeled after her deceased Commanding officer, Adam Malkovich. can only be piloted and entered by samus herself or people she authorizes. can be remote-controlled by the power suit.
Paralyzer: a small firearm samus keeps in case she is locked out of her suits powers. it has a non-lethal mode for stunning foes, but can be used lethally if required. she also can change the beam into a whip for melee attacks and grappling.
Absorption: a gift from
Ziana_Rivasier, allows samus to absorb beings through any part of her body and gives the ability to alter her stomach acids to be more damaging (liquid magma) or more pleasuring (hotspring water), also enables endo absorption.
Energy Tanks: samus's suits run on energy. she must either collect purple suit energy balls left behind from defeated enemies, visit a recharge station, or visit her ship to heal fully. failure to keep the suit properly powered results in system failure and (likely) death.
Log Book: a handy encyclopedia that samus can use. displays everything from mission objectives to flora and fauna. to add entries into the logbook, samus must scan the subject with the scan visor.
Scan visor: scanning lifeforms adds more information to the logbook. scanning certain mechanisms can also activate said mechanisms.
EXTRA ABILITIES
These abilities are gained through interractions with others. these are not canon with any metroid game.
energy absorption - can drain the life force out of foes through her mouth, leaving them lifeless husks if shes at it long enough (metroid dna, Mutation)
Personality: Samus, while on missions, is a serious individual. she has been through a lot, and is a hardened warrior, even while having a soft body. outside of missions, samus is highly playful and promiscuous.usually wearing her skimpy bikini when not on missions. when hunting low-leveled quarry, samus is also just as playful, like a cat to a mouse. she has grown to accept and even enjoy being a bbw. Despite her voracious appetite, she is actually a kind and caring individual and would gladly sacrifice herself if it meant it could save lives. She also sees people as people and won't indulge her metroid-given instincts unless given permission to do so by whoever she is talking to. she can also reform her prey.

NOTE: Metroid: Other M never happened to this alt. the player hates other m and all it did to samus's character. Adam is just someone she knew while working in the federation police force as her direct superior who died in the line of duty sometime before her first mission on zebes.
