Citadel

The Citadel. Hell's siege tower, the key and the way.
Driven by infernal engines of blood and bone this fortress has ruptured its way into our dimension from the nightmare realms. From its gates fiends roam out over the land, with its presence the ground sickens and the sky is corrupted by unnatural weather. The auguries are clear, the citadel has destroyed worlds before. If our world is to live then the citadel must perish, in its innermost depths dwells the heart. And only by its destruction may our world be saved.

Synopsis:
The Citadel is a 'dice based dungeon rp profile' in a similar vein to many others that have proved so popular here. Rules are below and will take up the remainder of the profile. Players take the roles of adventurers seeking to unmake before it can unmake the world by journeying to its heart and vanquishing it. However this quest is not for the faint of heart. Cultists, demons and the corrupted denizens of worlds destroyed by the citadel stand in numberless hordes between you and your goal. Sinister traps and dire perils will test your skills. And for all who seek to brave the citadel at least one doom waits for the moment you'll fall.

Stats: Each stat ranges from -4 to +4. All stats start off with a value of 0 but points can be freely traded between stats.

The stats are: Strength, dexterity, endurance, intelligence, willpower.

Abilities:
These can be created by the players but are subject to player approval. Abilities that have been approved will be listed below. At level 1 you get one ability.

Gifted: Adds +1 to one stat.

Tender please?: use once per combat, converts the next two attacks the enemy use from physical to seduction.

Prickly submissive: Take +2 damage on resolve attacks, but inflict +2 damage in melee.

Doom:
You may have 1 or 3 dooms. These are special fates reserved for you (preferences basically, we'll try to accommodate).

Health: you have 10 health+endurance

experience and levelling up:
You gain a point of xp for triumphing in a battle or overcoming an obstacle. When you have 5 xp you level up. When you level up you get to pick a new ability and gain 4+endurance hitpoints.

stat checks:
These are 2d6+relevant stat rolls. Success means beating an opposed roll or a fixed difficulty.

Items: Players have five Gold to spend on equipment. The costs of things depend on their type and will be described below.

armor: 2 gp per +1 armor rating
weapon: 1 gp per +1 weapon power rating
consumeable: 1gp per +8 if restorative, or +4 for any other consumeable.

Defence value:
Your defence score is equal to 5+armour+dexterity+any other bonus. This is the value your enemy must meet or beat to hit you. And in turn the value you must meet or beat for the enemy in order to hit them.

attacks:
Melee attacks are a roll of 2d6+strength+(level/2)+other modifiers to meet or beat the target's defence value. You inflict strength+weapon power damage on a hit.

Ranged attacks are similar except they use dexterity in place of strength and do not add strength to weapon damage.

Seduction and resolve attacks. Some demons have incredible powers of persuasion, these ones inflict 'resolve' damage. Which is a sortof temporary hitpoint loss that only lasts till the fiend is vanquished, additionally your defence value against this threat is calculated using willpower, not dexterity.

vore, sex, etc:
If you are reduced to 0 health any monster can inflict a doom on you with an attack roll so long as they beat your defence by at least 1.

Recovery and trying again:
Should you meet your doom you may continue, however all equipment you have will be lost and you will additionally lose 5 xp.
