Personality: Calm, sweet, and caring, Claire is Nereyda's wife. The ex-botanist does have a bit of a mischevious side, though. She's fond of playing pranks and teasing people. Even at her angriest or during her most intense teasing, she's calm enough to never go too far. Claire keeps Nereyda grounded and helps her get over her past trauma and prejudices, and Nereyda gets her to go outside of her comfort zones to try new things. Claire is certainly the top in the relationship. She's also a bit of a stoner. Her custom strains are killer.

Abilities:
Cursed physiology. Claire was cursed by fairies to have a body made of plant and mud. She was absolutely fine with this.
Plant magic! Claire can grow plants at will, either in her own body's mud or in non-polluted soil.
Claire can purify water, soil, or air given time.
Claire can grow dopey, smaller, plant-based drones she calls Leshies.
She has minor shapeshifting abilities, able to change how much of her body is plant and how much is mud.
The fragrance released from her flowers or her breath is slightly hypnotic.
Claire can eat or sink people into herself. The image of a purplish flower on a vine appears on her stomach and glows when she is draining the energy of a captive.

Backstory:
Claire was a botanist. She spent a large amount of time studying and preserving plants in the countryside. Much of the runoff from an industrial area made its way into a lake nearby, slowly polluting it. She did her best to try and keep it alive and well, but was unable to get a word in past the factories. Money talks, and she didn't have much of it. So Claire preserved what she could. As the waters became putrid and foul, she noticed something within. A strange fish-like person who seemed to be in pain. When she approached, the fish disappeared.

The world changed, most of the factories closed down or cleaned up. Probably due to the intervention of some of those supers. This lake, though, was damaged. Claire continued her futile attempts to clean it while also attempting to meet this fish lady. She eventually began to talk to her, and slowly this fish, Nereyda, warmed up to her. Reports of violence from the area were because of her. Nereyda spent a lot of time scaring off trespassers, but she knew Claire was different. The pair hit it off, but eventually Nereyda stopped rising from the waters. One morning, a putrid, almost melting form of her fishy friend crawled out from the lake and stomped off towards the industrial park. Each step seared the land beneath her. Claire's words seemed to bounce right off her. What few words Nereyda muttered were filled with pain. She frantically looked for some way to help.

Claire saw some lights in the distance. Claire ran to these, only to find the sprites speaking to her. They said Nereyda was Nature's wrath. She'd go out and destroy. This was revenge. Claire pleaded, asking if she could help. She saw Nereyda was in pain, and couldn't stand it. The sprites told her she'd be cursed. She'd become what they had turned from. Claire didn't care. She didn't hesitate even a second and took the deal.

Claire was transformed into a creature of Nature. Of mud and plant. Her selfless decision might have influenced the form she was given, as she did have flowers for hair. This could have been a lot worse, she honestly liked what she saw of her new body. Claire had no time to appreciate it though, she knew what she had to do. As Nereyda began mindlessly wreaking destruction, Claire made her way to the lake shore and knelt down, rooting herself to the land. Over the course of a few hours, Claire had purified the lake, and with it, it's guardian. Nereyda melted into water and flowed back to her home, forming back from the now crystal-clear waters to see Claire collapsed at the shore.

The two were inseparable after this. Claire built a cottage on the shore of the lake, while Nereyda did her best to make her cave beneath the water hospitable for her lover. Claire helped the lake nymph get over her desire for revenge, and actively participates in teasingly "polluting" trespassers on their lake. While Nereyda might be a dominant fishy usually, she's a blushing mess around Claire. Go say hi! They're friendly.
