Jess-In-Boots** - A young lady of melancholy moods, pessimism, and determination. - Her older sisters both perished in previous years; Ashley was swallowed by a leopard-girl in 2014, while Sour perished at the prom in 2015. Jess is the last daughter, and she has low hopes for her chances. At Prom, Jess wore a sleek, form-fitting black dress. The neck was a v, and the skirt was slit up the side, revealing the heeled knee-high boots she wore. Remy** - A perky, athletic young lady. - She's small, but she's feisty and fierce on the court. She covers a ton of ground with her speed, and she's often the one diving and keeping the play alive when nobody else could reach the ball. At Prom, Remy's attire was tight and flashy. She wore a snug blue dress that hugged her hips, leaving her legs mostly exposed, and it had a nice v-neck to show off cleavage. Her hair was in an updo, and she wore a pair of silver hoop earrings. Susan*** - A bold young lady with a clever nature. - Last year, she sought out one of the predators for advice. It's earned her a star. At Prom, Susan wore a simple, elegant dark blue dress. Her neckline was a nice v-neck to show cleavage, and the dress hugged her figure nicely, with sleek skirts that swirled around her legs. Adorning her head was a crown of leaves. Ingrid** - A clever, creative young lady. - Ingrid is a Dungeons & Dragons geek. She runs the school's D&D club, and deals with the challenges of needing to replace players mid-campaign. At Primrose, a TPK is a very real possibility! At Prom, Ingrid wore a close-fitting silver dress which left her left shoulder bare, and hugged her figure down to the hips, where it flared out down to her ankles. Silver shoes completed the look for her. Kyla** - A clever young lady with voyeuristic tendencies. - Kyla is a strange young lady. On one hand, she is bright and friendly with lots of friends and an active social life. She's attentive in class, dilligent in her assignments, and she turns in her homework early. On the other hand, she is completely fascinated by the food chain that permeates the school. She takes more than a passing interest in the fate of her classmates. She carries a small video camera with her, and she will spy on and film other girls as they meet their end. Or even while they don't; Kyla is certainly into other girls. At Prom, Kyla wore a slim black dress with a nice deep neckline and a skirt that left her calves and ankles bare. She wore a pair of strappy black heels, and had her hair coiffed in an updo. Molly** - A young lady with sarcastic wit and an A young lady with overprotective mother. - Much to Molly's chagrin, her mother has come to Primrose. She took on a part-time job as an aide, and is using her time to keep an eye on her daughter. Molly is mortified; it's made her a social pariah in the eyes of everyone except her close friends. This has, however, earned her a star. At Prom, Molly wore a long, sweeping gown of yellow. The bodice was snug and ribbed up the front, with a scooping neckline to show off her cleavage, while the skirt swept down to the floor. Her hair was arranged in waves that spilled across her shoulders. Wanda* - A sultry, friendly young woman. - Wanda doesn't just play the trumpet. She studies it, reveres it, and knows the history of a good two-dozen blues trumpet players. She hopes to one day make her mark playing old, New Orleans blues. At Prom, Wanda wore a smokey grey dress with lace and silk, hugging the body with a very short skirt and a slim v-neck. Her hair was its usual wild self. Her heels had crossed laces all the way up to her knees. Mila** - A Soprano Singer - A young lady of wealth with a vain disposition and with a risque fashion sense. - Some people join choir to be heard, but Mila joined up to be seen also. She's the first to volunteer for any solo, and she's always in the front row. At Prom, Mila arrived in an eye-catching purple dress. The corset top did her bust all sorts of favors, leaving her shoulders bare. The skirt hugged her hips and came close on her legs in a mermaid tail style, flaring out just below the knees. Her shoes were expensive designer heels, with tiny diamonds to catch the light. And naturally, Mila's hair was an immaculate array of ringlets and waves that spilled over her bared shoulders. Pick** - A fiesty, delinquent young lady. - As an effort to redeem her, the faculty have put Pick in the drama program. The prevailing wisdom is that channeling her delinquency into something positive will give her a better place to express herself. The jury's still out on whether or not it'll work. At Prom, Pick wore a sleek green dress with the left shoulder bare and a short, flaring skirt. A pair of green heels adorn her feet, and her hair is its usual tousled do. Addison** - A risque young lady with a perky demeanor. - Privately, Addison wonders what it would be like to be a predator at Primrose. She sometimes affects mannerisms of a predator, pouncing people in the halls, pretending to bite into them, even going so far as to lick them. There are all sorts of rumors going around about Addison's sexuality; she's been known to nibble at sleepovers. At Prom, Addison wore a shimmery green dress with a snug bodice and a scooping neckline, and a wide, sweeping skirt. Her hair was arranged in tight ringlets, and her ears each held a large gold hoop. Ashley*** - A nice, athletic young woman with a dramatic flair. - While Ashley is kind and helpful, she does tend to view everything in terms of narrow escapes, lucky breaks, and dramatic shifts. She is one to spit movie lines back at people, to take her cues from horror heroines, and to find that things don't always work the way she wants them to. At Prom, Ashley wore a tight blue dress with a short skirt and a deep v-neck. A pearl necklace was around her throat, and a pair of expensive black heels were on her feet. Gemma*** - A quiet, athletic young lady. - Last year, she saved Empress' life. A catgirl had the girl cornered, and Gemma stepped in to fight her off. Empress has been extremely generous with her thanks, and has made Gemma one of her best friends. With that post comes a generous allowance, naturally. At Prom, Gemma wore a dress slashed with black and grey, tight to the bust and snug all the way to the hips, where it flared out in a short skirt, leaving her legs free for mobility. Heels with criss-crossing laces up the calf adorned her feet, and her hair was arranged in a braided updo. Jada** - A young lady of a chill, flirty nature, with risque fashion sense. - She skips a lot of classes. It's more noteworthy if Jada shows up than if she doesn't. She turns in just enough work to pass, but the teachers are beginning to crack down on her habits. At Prom, Jada wore a tight black bodice with a corset-style to it, showing off her impressive cleavage and leaving the shoulders bare. Her skirt was a sweeping, lacy garment that dropped to the floor, hiding her nice black heels. Her hair was loose in pressed waves to frame her face and spill over her bared shoulders. Pearl* - A perky, chatty young lady with risque ideas about the uniform. - She is part of Empress' court. She is a huge gossip, and loves the fact that she has the ear of the Empress. While Pearl can be annoying, she knows to shut up when Empress says; that's why they get along. At Prom, the slender blonde had her hair arranged in delicate braids arranged on top and her slim body was wrapped tightly in white, with a corset top showing off some nice cleavage, and a clingy, tight white skirt hugging her legs down to the knees, where it flared out. Danica** - A perky, sarcastic young lady. - For all that she gripes about the long, extra hours in audio tech, she enjoys the work. She's Tricia's trusted second, perhaps the only other girl who knows how to work the sound board. She often helps by setting up and plugging in microphones, and troubleshooting issues. She'll be the one on the ground directing any juniors assigned to help out. At Prom, Danica wore an orange dress with a cute bow at the front, just below her cleavage. Her shoulders were left bare, and her dress had nice, sweeping skirts, with a pair of black heels underneath. Her hair was done up in a stylish updo. Nil** - A quiet, snarky young lady. - Nil keeps to herself mostly. She's often found curled up in a tight spot somewhere in the theater department, reading a book or napping. She enjoys perching up on top of stacks of boxes, supply cabinets, between curtains off the stage, essentially anywhere you wouldn't normally perch. At Prom, Nil wore a simple black dress with a snug bodice, a flaring, short skirt, and a pair of heeled boots with buckles up the side. Her usual makeup hasn't changed; a little heavy on the eyeliner, black lipstick, and her dark blue hair is a familiar sight. Florence** - Yearbook Editor - A crafty girl with flexible morals. - Transferred to Primrose from Beaucroft Prep. At Prom, Florence wore a daring dress of red and black with a deep neckline and a snug bodice, all the way to the hips, where the skirt flared out a little before dropping to the ground. Red and black heels completed the look, along with a nice elegant coif that arranged her hair up top. Jamie* - Writer - A wealthy young lady with a snarky wit. - Transferred to Primrose from Beaucroft Prep. At Prom, Jamie wore a tight dress of dark grey with a scooping neckline and a short skirt. She wore a pair of stockings complete with the garter clips, and she had a pair of stylish heels as well. Callista** - Obituary Writer - A bold young lady with risque style. - If there is someone who needs to be interviewed, Callista is on the job. She's the most pro-active writer at the yearbook, and is responsible for most of the weekly newsletter. Her questions are often a little direct, which tends to make for an entertaining interview. At Prom, Callista wore a long, flowing dress of grey. The body was snug to her breasts, and it left her shoulders bare, then swept down to her hips where the skirt went a little looser. Heels and hoop earrings were her adornments, and her hair spilled in waves over her shoulders. Ottavia - A soft-spoken young lady with an athletic physique and risque style. - She transferred late in the year from Arlington Academy. At Prom, Ottavia wore a short, flirty dress of dark blue. A scooping neckline, a very short, tight skirt, and a pair of blue heels to complete the look. Fiora - A feisty young lady with delinquent tendencies and a sarcastic tongue. - She transferred late in the year from Arlington Academy. At Prom, Fiora wore snug black dress pants, a white dress shirt and a black vest to frame up her cleavage. Her hair was its usual mass of curls, and she wore a pair of black heels. Serafina - A young lady both clever and sarcastic. - She transferred late in the year from Arlington Academy. At Prom, Serafina wore a long, sweeping dress with a tight ribbed bodice and sweeping, poofy skirt, all in shades of blue and lilac. The dress had broad shoulder straps, but the neckline showed off plenty of cleavage, and her hair was arranged in a delicate updo. Yoon - A clever girl with an eye for detail and a lazy attitude. - She transferred late in the year from Arlington Academy. At Prom, Yoon wore a short, form-fitting dress of black satin and lace, with a skirt that flared out at the hips but hid little of her thighs. She wore stockings and heels, and had her black hair in loose, languid ringlets to frame her delicate face. Erika - A young lady with an inquisitive and friendly nature. - She transferred late in the year from Arlington Academy. At Prom, Erika opted for a dress of pastel pink fabric. The bodice was ribbed up the front, and it left her shoulders bare and had some modest cleavage on display, while her skirt poofed out at the hips and swept down to the floor. Her hair was done up in a neat series of braids. Tamrah* - Predator - A big, hungry polar-bear taur who enjoys athletic pursuits. She's very nice when she isn't hungry. - Transferred to Primrose from Beaucroft Prep. At Prom, Tamrah was fine in a white shirt and a long blue vest, with a blue top hat to complement. Her tauric hindquarters was left bare.
Most of the staff are ordinary humans. Almost none of them are predatory. But the repercussions for eating staff are very severe (staff members are off the menu). There are a few noteworthy teachers, however.
Headmistress Bell - A mysterious, friendly woman. - There are a lot of questions surrounding the new Headmistress. Just what is her relationship with Assistant Headmaster Borden? Where did she come from, and why was she chosen for this post? What is she planning to do with the Academy? Assistant Headmaster Borden - A stern authoritarian in a state of disgrace. - Borden was the Headmaster of Primrose Academy for the last ten years. The last couple of years have tarnished his reputation. He has returned this year as the Assistant Headmaster, serving the new Headmistress in an advisory capacity. Nobody's quite sure who holds the power in that relationship. Madam Kitchov - Drama Teacher - A lady of fashion and flair. - She took over the drama department following the demise of Miss Rosic in 2014. This is her second full year at Primrose. The Colonel - History Teacher - A crusty, cantankerous old man with a militant nature. - While he is a good teacher, his lessons tend to fixate on military conflict and military issues. He is thoroughly versed in those things, naturally. Coach Fine - Volleyball Coach - A lady of determination and fierce disposition. - Above all else, Coach Fine is a mercurial woman. She has a lot of passion for her job, for her team, and for winning championships. She has taken the initiative to hire two assistant coaches, and she's planning to make a splash in the Briar League. Miss Gallant - Assistant Volleyball Coach - A perky, athletic young lady. - Irrepressibly cheerful and full of energy, Miss Gallant is the conditioning coach for the volleyball team. It was Coach Fine's idea to bring her on board, though she and the Coach often butt heads over attitudes. Miss Silan* - Assistant Volleyball Coach - A young lady with a serious disposition and a strategic mind. - Miss Silan was brought on board to oversee strategy for the volleyball team. She was a part of a championship college team, and Coach Fine poached her for this job with hopes of replicating some of her success on the court. Miss Goad - Disciplinarian / Biology Teacher - A massive, horrible, cruel troll. - Miss Grundine was a terror, until she met her end in 2014. Miss Goad is her mother. While Grundine was only half-troll, Miss Goad is a full-fledged swamp troll with grey-blue skin, warts, a mouth full of teeth, and a sharp sense of smell. Mr. Blake - English Teacher - A handsome young man with a mild manner. - Mr. Blake is a handsome young man, fresh out of college and working his first teaching job. None of the other schools would hire him without any experience in the classroom, so here he is at Primrose Academy. Miss Crofton - Choir Teacher - A cultured and refined lady from Britain. - She's friends with Madam Kitchov, and was her recommendation for the choir director's post. She came over from England, and is excited to work with the talented young women of the choir this year. Miss Dale - Band Teacher - A demanding lady who expects perfection. - Miss Dale is a bit of a taskmistress. She expects the best from all her students, and that's what she usually gets. She is a very good band instructor, and her performances are usually quite impressive. Lunchlady Smith - A lady who looks dour, but is actually quite nice. - She runs the kitchen efficiently and capably, overseeing a staff of ladies who keep food coming. She is usually in the kitchen, and she doesn't interact often with the students. Miss Riel - Chief Kitchen Aide - A slim, soft-spoken redhead. - The soft-spoken, model-pretty Miss Riel is the second in command of the kitchen. She keeps things running when Lunchlady Smith is busy or away (which is surprisingly often, all things considered). Miss Piri - Kitchen Aide - A perky young woman. - Miss Piri is a bright, friendly, and bubbly young woman who is often at the window, serving up food.
"This school is hell. We aren't meant to survive."
- Jess' nickname comes from her fondness for boots. She is almost always wearing stockings and heeled boots.
- The loss of her sister Sour last year particularly stung, since it seemed like she was in the clear at the prom. Jess considers it a sort of 'family curse'.
- She has picked up volleyball to try and distract herself from the rest of the school. She knows that if she just does nothing, she'll drive herself crazy.
- After school, she found herself nearly devoured by Josephine_LeBlanc, who was stopped by Miss Goad. She told Jo, "Let's do that again sometime, same outcome."
"The feeling of being on the court, ready to receive that serve? Yeah, that's what I'm all about. That rush of adrenaline as the ball comes your way, the chance to change the game all in one volley, that's why I play."
- Tiffany calls her 'Snack-Size'. She calls Tiffany 'Bimbo-Slut'. They get along well.
- Remy is actually quite good at math. Numbers come easily to her. She doesn't see why everyone else thinks it's so hard.
- After Josephine_LeBlanc tried to eat Vania and was stopped, she waited for Miss Daxley to leave, then chased Remy, pounced her, and got her halfway down her throat. Miss Daxley showed back up with enough time to save Remy, though she broke her tablet and lost a shoe in the process.
"Here we are in a school where it's okay to eat other students. What kind of twisted, Darwinian lunacy is this? It's survival of the fittest, and it's up to each of us to make sure we're fit enough. There are no second chances!"
- Susan is quite smart; she has a history of academic excellence. She's one of the rare students who has a firm grasp of both arts and sciences.
- She is slow to trust, but she is very loyal to her friends.
- She hasn't joined any clubs or teams. She prefers to consider herself a part of 'Survive Primrose Club'.
- She and Makenna were hanging out in the entry hall when they saw Disdemona_Halkias. She eyed the lamia with a bit of suspicion, which seemed to draw the lamia's attention. She suggested to Makenna that they try and avoid the predator.
- That lasted right up until after lunch. She and Makenna came around a bend to see Kyla struggling to look casual. Before she pieced it together, Disdemona_Halkias came surging around the bend! Susan turned to run, and the lamia charged after her, and pounced her from behind, gulping her down quickly! She was saved by the Headmistress herself, even though the lamia tried to hide her and gulp her down quickly.
- Susan watched Josephine_LeBlanc turn on Ingrid in the halls from a safe distance.
- She and Makenna were attacked in the halls by Disdemona_Halkias and Suki, but Mr. Blake showed up to stop it.
- She and Disdemona_Halkias seem to have reached an uneasy truce.
- She helped Disdemona_Halkias try to ambush Braelyn.
"It's scary, but at the same time it's kind of thrilling. I guess it's kind of dumb, but I think it's a lot like rolling on a random encounter table every time you step into the halls. You never know what you'll find."
- As a D&D geek, Ingrid has a pretty good working knowledge of different monsters and their abilities. Of course, she thinks it's all really cool, and wouldn't dream of attempting any sort of violence.
- Some consider her reckless, with her interest in monsters, but she just can't help it. She is, however, careful not to get too close, or not to end up alone in a room with a predator. She has a campaign to run, after all!
- The thought has crossed her mind that adding a predator to her D&D Club would make other preds think twice about eating her players. Protected by a predator, after all...
- She found out that Josephine_LeBlanc signed up for her D&D game, and went to go talk to her about it! The gator-girl instead lost control of herself and seized Ingrid in a crowded hallway, attempting to bring her somewhere to be devoured! Other students and staff stepped in to stop it, though it took a tranquilizer round from The Colonel to stop her rampage.
- She ran a game of D&D with Josephine_LeBlanc.
- She has been running her D&D game for a while, with some success. Josephine_LeBlanc lost her character in one session, but she rolled up a new one. Tamrah was in their group briefly, but when she tried to eat Yolanda, there was a fight between Jo and Tamrah. Tamrah has been kicked out of the group.
- Finch joined the game.
"Girls in the shower being swallowed by a naga? Oh my. Yes please. The food chain in action, ladies and gentlemen."
- While she has an interest in the food chain at Primrose, she'd prefer not to become part of it. She is far from suicidal, and will try to avoid becoming cornered by a predator. She has a few surprises for any predator who snares her.
- On the court, Kyla is devious and quick. She'll often turn up just where there was an opening moments before, keeping the ball in the air and setting it up for a strike. She has a strategic mind; she gets along well with Miss Silan, and the pair have some strategies that they can't wait to try at a real game. Some of them involve predators and underhanded tactics.
- Kyla helped Disdemona_Halkias try and ambush Susan and Makenna in the hall, so long as she was allowed to film it. The ambush went poorly; Headmistress Bell arrived in time to save Susan.
- At the volleyball team's first game, Kyla asked Disdemona_Halkias to come out and watch, and look for opportunities. The lamia asked her to make someone go to the locker room, so she subtly sliced the back of Stacia's bra, to make her go in for repairs. She followed her in, pulled out her camera, but the lamia hesitated, realizing that Suki was hoping to eat Stacia, and she didn't want to annoy her. It became a non-issue when Miss Gallant caught them. Kyla looked very bad after that interaction.
- Realizing that she was more or less screwed, she decided to try and get some meager satisfaction out of the situation. She texted Amy_Evans to lure her into the locker room, where Disdemona_Halkias coiled her up and devoured her. The volleyball team came in and tried to save her, but they arrived too late.
- Kyla took almost as much blame as the lamia in Amy's death. She was thrown off the volleyball team, and her reputation amongst the class is as a 'race traitor'. Her locker was vandalized, with awful messages scrawled on it in sharpie, and she's had to step quickly to avoid being attacked in the halls by her classmates.
- In the weeks following, things have died down a little bit for Kyla, but she still is a social pariah.
- She helped Disdemona_Halkias try to ambush Braelyn.
- She helped Tzelle ambush Stacia.
"Ugh, Mom, go away! I can't believe you're doing this. You're humiliating me in front of all my friends."
- Molly has a sarcastic, acerbic sense of humor. With her embarrassing parental issues, she's been the butt of a lot of jokes and teasing. Her only recourse has been to verbally snipe at people. She'll rarely say something that isn't biting. But she rarely says it very loudly.
- With her mother around, Molly's grades have been slipping. She spends more time complaining about it and trying to socialize normally than trying to finish her homework.
- "Why is this all so negative about my daughter? We have a great relationship. Her father works days, so the way I see it, I could either stay at home worrying, or I could be pro-active and help out at Primrose, all while keeping an eye on my little girl."
- "Schools encourage parent participation all the time! Why should Primrose be an exception? This is what parenting is all about, after all; teaching your children how to be a good, responsible member of society. I just wish some of those predators' parents had taught them that."
- "I'm totally a cool mom. All Molly's friends love me."
- "Ugh, Mom! This blurb is supposed to be mine! You have your own blurb! Get lost!"
- She was in Miss Ravinski's class when Disdemona_Halkias ate Empress.
- Molly's Mom met her end in the halls of Primrose. Rumor has it that Barbara_Savage devoured her, but nobody can say for sure.
"It would have been amazing to see some of the blues legends in the 1920s. But the next best thing would be to bring their work alive on stage."
- In school, Wanda is very good at History. The Colonel picks on her somewhat, possibly for the color of her skin, but she's always on the ball and ready to answer.
- She's not fond of physical activity, and will skip gym class whenever she thinks she can get away with it.
- Towards the end of the year, Wanda popped in to watch the volleyball team practice.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played a Silver Spoon Brigadier.
"I can't wait till we have our first concert, I have this little black dress which is so cute, it makes me look amazing."
- She does have a nice voice, and is a good singer.
- Her aspiration is to be the singer in a band, though she's been influenced towards more classic styles by watching Postmodern Jukebox on youtube.
- After chatting with Braelyn in the library, she found herself being chased into the hall by Josephine_LeBlanc! It was nearly the end for her, if not for the Colonel stepping in.
- While Zara was interviewing her for her blog, Josephine_LeBlanc interrupted. The reptile tried to ask to be friends, but Mila told her off.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played a Porridge Company Go-Go Dancer.
- After the final day of classes, Mila was the last surviving member of the choir.
"What makes you think I can act, huh? You'll figure out your mistake soon enough, and then I'm out of here. Whatever happened to regular detention anyways?"
- Pick has a knack for accents, which seems to delight the other drama girls. Hesitantly, Pick has begun to do voices for bit characters in some of the drama skits.
- She is hesitant to admit that she's enjoying herself, because that would mean the faculty wins.
- Following the swim meet, she encountered a predatory Josephine_LeBlanc in the halls. A fortunate and timely intervention from Miss Goad saved Pick's life.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played the Porridge Company Representative.
"Nobody is boring. There's always something interesting about everyone, and it's an actress' job to find out what that is and to bring it to life. And that's especially true here, where there's some crazy preds roaming around who want to eat people!"
- The young actress is often attracted to interesting roles; she loves playing the femme fatale, or the damsel who turns things around on her captor. She hates traditional female 'helpless damsel' roles.
- She is very conflicted about the predators in the hall; on one hand, they fascinate her. On the other hand, she has no illusions about what would happen if they decided to eat her. And she likes living far too much to give it up, thank you very much.
- She does a flawless impression of Braelyn.
- Braelyn doesn't like that Addison does impressions of her. Nor do the members of Braelyn's clique.
- Addison saved Cat from Josephine_LeBlanc after a meeting for Ashley's movie.
- Addison helped Ashley make her horror movie. She was on camera.
- Even following Braelyn's death, Addison still does a flawless impression. Usually she goes on about how 'she's way too popular to get eaten'.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played Mama Bear.
"Oh god, did you see that? That pred just about cornered me in the hall! I could have been a goner! It was just lucky that I was able to get to the atrium before she caught me. "
- She's always ready to help somebody out with a dramatic project. She appears in more than her share of student films, helping with projects whenever she can.
- She's also quite athletic; she practices and competes with the swim team.
- She was at the swim practice where Josephine_LeBlanc nearly ate Ayla, then got upset with Miss Morian, the swim coach.
- At Braelyn's party, she was listening in as Josephine_LeBlanc and Alina got in a shouting match. She was pounced as the gator-girl came out, but managed to convince her not to eat her.
- At swim practice, she asked Josephine_LeBlanc to help her out by playing a monster in a video project.
- She made her film. Most of it, anyway. When Josephine_LeBlanc went a bit feral, they wrapped shooting for the day and escaped to their cars.
- Though she tried her best, her team came up short at the swim meet, losing to Arlington Academy.
- Following the meet, she was in the locker room when Josephine_LeBlanc devoured Grace, then Alina, and finally Miss Camp.
- After Miss Camp's demise, the swim team was formally disbanded.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played Goldilocks.
"I can't wait to be done with Primrose."
- As for what Gemma thinks of the arrangement with Empress, she isn't saying. She has it good; she's being paid well to be a bodyguard, and she is automatically exempt from Empress sharp tongue and cruel mind. Not a lot of people know what sort of person Gemma is, though; she kept to herself quite a bit before, and she sticks to Empress now.
- She is trained in a number of martial arts disciplines. She's a decent actor, mostly playing quieter characters, but she's an excellent fighter. She loves to do sparring scenes with Ashley.
- Physical fitness is definitely something Gemma takes pride in. She is often found in the gym, going for a run, or otherwise exercising. It's a bit of a mystery why she hasn't tried out for one of the athletic teams.
- On uniform order day, Gemma was walking around with Empress. She and Gemini_Garner exchanged a glance.
- When Miss Ravinski stepped out of the classroom, Disdemona_Halkias attacked Empress. Gemma fought hard, but Gemma lost. She was helpless to watch as the lamia swallowed Empress. She has been utterly and completely distraught ever since.
- Gemma had a heated conversation with Disdemona_Halkias backstage at rehearsal. The juicy details were lost when Galena was swallowed.
- On her first day of classes, Posey tried to eat Gemma. Disdemona_Halkias came to save her, but before it could come to blows, Headmistress Bell showed up and put a stop to it.
- Gemma and Disdemona_Halkias have definitely become an item over the last few weeks of classes.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played Papa Bear.
"Hey, you've got awesome legs, you know that? Ah, don't worry, I'm not carnivorous. Although for you, I could be."
- She's a member of the D&D Club, and plays in Ingrid's game. She plays a half-orc barbarian who cracks skulls and takes names. She enjoys the chance to role-play while she roll-plays.
- Acting and flirting are the only two things she seems to care much about, and everything she does is through a filter of laziness. She'll catcall people, but she'll rarely actually pursue. She'll tease, but she won't get riled up if she gets teased back. She's very easy-going.
- She played D&D with Josephine_LeBlanc. Her character is a half-orc barbarian named Krunka.
- She came with Yolanda to back up Josephine_LeBlanc against Miss Goad, which turned out to be a prank by Charlise. When Jo lost control, Ukami was devoured.
- She watched Josephine_LeBlanc lose her cool and bite off Nell's head, before chasing down Karina, who was saved when the headmistress showed up.
- Partly to tease Josephine_LeBlanc (who seemed hopelessly naive about why a girl might kiss another girl), she made out with and groped Lucia.
- After the kiss, she filmed Josephine_LeBlanc as the gator-girl wolfed down Jaylee. Lucia was in the video too, cheering Jo on.
- Lucia was eaten by Suki, and it seemed Jada was next on the list. The girl managed to fight off the naga long enough for Josephine_LeBlanc to show up and kill Suki.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played the Pickpocket.
- On the final day of classes, Illaoi_ came across Jada while on the prowl. After the girl gave her a gatorade, the predator helped her with a reluctant vending machine before moving off to try and find Seraph.
"Oh that's just precious."
- Pearl, for all her annoying qualities, has an excellent nose for gossip. She can find things out about almost anyone. She's still in Empress' favor due to her ability to learn what nobody wants her to learn.
- Some people think that Pearl is where she is precisely because she's found out something juicy about Empress herself. It would take quite the offer for her to spill the beans, since that would destroy her social standing.
- In drama, Pearl loves to play the dramatic love interest who gets rescued by the hero. Since there's no heroes around, she'll happily kiss a heroine. But she'd prefer a hero, if it were an option.
- Pearl loves to read horoscopes.
- She was talking on the phone with Juno when Josephine_LeBlanc snagged Juno and ate her. She then had a brief annoyed conversation with the gator-girl, complaining about how Jo always eats her friends.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played the Homeless Librarian.
"I live to serve."
- She plays a lot of video games in her spare time. She tends to favor action platformers like Tomb Raider and Uncharted.
- It's rare that Danica turns in a homework assignment on time. She often blames the A/V department, and claims she didn't have time to finish it up.
- She replaced Cat doing sound for Ashley's horror movie. When Josephine_LeBlanc went feral, she tried to eat Danica, but the girl managed to fend her off with the boom pole, and a little help from Trixie and Tessa.
- On the final day of classes, while hanging out with Dena, she was approached by Illaoi_. A few sarcastic quips later, Dena was dragged off and was never seen again, while Danica was just glad it wasn't her.
"Oh yes please, let me plug things in. Oh no, I'm totally not being sarcastic, why would you say that?"
- She reads plenty of science fiction and fantasy. She enjoys books with a bit of violence in them, so naturally Game of Thrones is a favorite.
- One of her compelling reasons to survive the year is to find out how Game of Thrones ends.
- She just barely makes it to enough classes to pass. She doesn't seem worried about summer school, but then again, she doesn't seem worried about much of anything.
- On uniform order day, Nil met Disdemona_Halkias in the halls. They seem to have become friends.
- Nil has been lurking about with Disdemona_Halkias a fair bit, even hanging around while she swallows other students.
"It's all about making a quick buck and surviving to spend that buck."
- She is a pharmaceuticals dealer. Just where she gets her stuff is anyone's guess, but she can hook people up with all sorts of things, and she charges a pretty penny to do it.
- She does occasionally indulge in her own wares, but she's careful not to leave herself in a vulnerable state. She wants to survive the year so she can spend all the money she's making!
- She hates being called 'Flo'.
- She survived the massacre at Chanel's place.
- It surprised a lot of people when she volunteered to replace Myla as the yearbook editor, but there weren't many other applicants.
- She had a violent encounter with Caitlin_Paige on the roof, and after making a daring escape, she met Illaoi_ just in time to see her turn on Salem.
"Yeah, my parents are rich. So what? I'm still cool."
- Her parents are in business, and are nearly always out of town. Jamie has a palatial mansion largely to herself much of the time. Despite her life of wealth and comfort, she enjoys playing video games and hanging out with friends, and is surprisingly un-spoiled.
- She has a bit of a tongue, especially when concerning teachers and authority. She is usually smart enough not to get in trouble, but she can't resist a good sarcastic reply. If a teacher gets her mad, they'll hear about it right away, and maybe get an apology later.
- She survived the massacre at Chanel's place.
- Jamie decided to write some pieces for yearbook.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played the Court Jester.
"A real reporter gets her scoop and looks damn good doing it."
- She has a bit of a flair for getting into trouble. She's well-schooled in the idea that boundaries don't apply if you have a media pass. She can be relentless in pursuit of the right story.
- One of her ideas for the newsletter is to do a predator spotlight, where she interviews a predator every week. She still needs to get Myla to approve the idea, though. Understandably, Myla is a little nervous about the idea; she doesn't want to lose Callista, and she doesn't want to give a predator any reason to come after the yearbook girls if they don't like what was written.
- She was in Miss Ravinski's class when Disdemona_Halkias ate Empress.
- She managed to interview Disdemona_Halkias and survive, thanks to her charming personality.
- Callista has been named the assistant obituary writer! If something happens to Salem...
- Madam Kitchov recruited Callista to replace Galena in the school play.
- Salem bit the dust, so now Callista writes the obituaries. She didn't hesitate at all to post Salem's risque, self-written obituary.
- In Goldilocks: The Musical, she played Baby Bear.
"Oh, no, I don't need anything, thanks. I'm fine."
- She is one of the Arlington Five, a clique of girls who belong to Posey.
- She's the sort of girl who looks amazing in gym attire, or dressed to the nines. Her makeup is usually flawless, and a hint of perfume follows her everywhere. Her walk is very sensual; she is a creature of grace and charm.
- Growing up, she was more of a tomboy. She was louder and more rough-and-tumble. When she came to high school, she found that her delicate look rubbed some of the athletes the wrong way. They teased her and made her life difficult, which pushed her back into her shell. Shy and reserved, she quit sports, and has kept things quiet for the most part.
- She was with Posey when Disdemona_Halkias appeared to confront her over Gemma.
- She doesn't seem too bothered about all the recent deaths. After all, Posey will protect her.
- She was playing basketball with Bethany when Illaoi_ talked them into playing against her. At the first opportunity, the predator seized and swallowed Bethany, while Holly took photos.
"Oh yeah? Bite me."
- She is one of the Arlington Five, a clique of girls who belong to Posey.
- Fiora is just as fiery as her name and hair suggest. She is frequently in trouble for a wide variety of things, and she has a wide variety of skills associated with getting in trouble. She can pick locks, she is handy with a can of spray-paint, she is an expert at quickly re-naming someone's contacts, and she can throw a punch with the best of them.
- The girl's attitude seems to amuse Posey, though she's clever enough to use it sparingly at the predator herself. Many people thought that Fiora's act would wear thin after a while, but so far, it hasn't.
- She was with Posey when Disdemona_Halkias appeared to confront her over Gemma.
"Predators aren't the only people with bite around here."
- She is one of the Arlington Five, a clique of girls who belong to Posey.
- Serafina has a sharp tongue. She loves to get into a battle of words with people, and she doesn't have much of a filter. She'll even make fun of Posey, though she does so sparingly.
- She and Fiora love to verbally spar with each other.
- She feels that she has to call things as she sees them. She won't hesitate to call someone out for being a hypocrite, which lands her in detention more often than not. Teachers are her favorite targets, but not her only ones.
- She was with Posey when Disdemona_Halkias appeared to confront her over Gemma.
"It's wrong and we'll need to redo it, but we'll redo it later. Or maybe we'll get someone else to redo it. Cause I don't really want to."
- She is one of the Arlington Five, a clique of girls who belong to Posey.
- Most teachers find Yoon to be a very frustrating pupil. The potential is there, but the work ethic is not. She would much rather point out problems and flaws with something (which she's very good at) than actually solve those problems. After all, why do all the hard work if you're as smart as she is? Smart people let others do the work for them!
- She is often leaning back against Posey, giving her a belly or shoulder-rub. She figures it's better to be rubbing the outside of the belly than the inside. And it's better to stay on Posey's good side.
- She'll often skip classes to take a nap somewhere.
- She was with Posey when Disdemona_Halkias appeared to confront her over Gemma.
"It's all a matter of perspective."
- She worked for the newspaper at Arlington Academy, and she has her eyes set on the same at Primrose. She is easy-going and laid back, and puts people at ease when she asks them questions. She isn't afraid to ask hard questions, and she isn't afraid to interview predators, either.
- She was friends with almost everyone at Arlington Academy, and the girls were sad to see her go. They threw her a going away party, and wished her the best of luck at Primrose. It's only a matter of time before she has a wealth of new friends.
- The only person she refuses to interview is Posey. She did it once before, and she didn't publish anything. She refuses to talk about the experience.
- Erika did an interview with Josephine_LeBlanc and lived to tell about it! It's coming out in an upcoming newsletter.
"Wanna wrestle?"
- She is a striking sight in the halls; the body of a polar bear, with the upper body of a big young woman. She towers over other students, standing seven feet tall, and she's just over six feet in length. Her stomach is easily big enough to hold a pair of girls.
- Jovial and friendly, she does occasionally get hungry. While she tries not to eat too many people, she is a predator, and does need to eat. That said, there are some girls who just make her mouth water.
- She met Josephine_LeBlanc in the halls, and the two seemed to hit it off nicely.
- Just after meeting Jo, she went stalking after Myla. The yearbook editor has not been seen since.
- She joined the D&D group and played with them for a month, until she decided she wanted to eat Yolanda. Josephine_LeBlanc attacked her and tried to stop her by killing her, but the Headmistress interrupted.
- She devoured Connie_Kwan in the halls, and tried to eat Bethany too before she was interrupted.
- During the school play, she caught Cat backstage and devoured her.
- On the final day of classes, Tamrah snatched up and devoured Meadow.
"Welcome to Primrose Academy! I hope you all have a wonderful year, and remember that my door is always open."
- She has set an open door policy, encouraging students to come to her with any complaints or concerns. It remains to be seen how this will go over with the school at large.
- Whatever else, she seems pretty nice.
- She met Disdemona_Halkias in the halls while she was trying to eat Susan and Makenna. She told the lamia that she could spit Susan out or end up in Miss Goad's class.
- Disdemona_Halkias came to speak with her in her office. Whatever passed between them, nobody knows.
- Josephine_LeBlanc also spoke with her in her office. Who knows what they spoke about?
- She stopped Josephine_LeBlanc from downing Karina.
- She stopped Miss Goad from eating Braelyn.
- Rumor has it she saw Barbara_Savage eat Miss Ravinski and did nothing.
- She stopped Josephine_LeBlanc from eating Miss Silan, but she arrived too late to save Charlise. She and the gator exchanged some choice words.
- While Illaoi_ was trying to wrestle Seraph into submission, the Headmistress herself showed up to put an end to it.
"What are you doing out of class? And whose shoes are those? That's detention for you."
- Borden was caught on video two years ago in a physical relationship with one of his students. The fact that nothing came of it speaks to one of two things; whoever hires the teachers has a high opinion of him, or nobody else wanted the job.
- Last year, Borden was seduced by Felicity in her now-viral video blog. She wanted to pull a Paris Hilton sort of stunt, and Borden was the entrapped participant. The video being all over the internet forced the school to act, and Borden's position and influence has been reduced.
- Borden still oversees the green slips, and makes sure they get sent to the parents when their daughter meets her end.
- Assistant Headmaster Borden ran into Josephine_LeBlanc as she finished eating Parker (and menacing Miss Chi). Since the gator-girl had disobeyed the teacher, he assigned Jo to Miss Goad's class.
- While Assistant Headmaster Borden has been present in the halls, he has given the impression of weariness. His heart isn't in it the way it used to be. But he still patrols the halls and intervenes when he can. And he still sends out the green slips.
- He stopped Disdemona_Halkias from swallowing Laila a few days before the end of classes.
"When one is bringing a character to life, one must have the proper style, no? One must be dressed for the part, but one must also have the right poise, the right step, and the right tone. It is not enough to pretend, one must transform."
- She helped finish and put on "Little Red Riding Hood: The Musical", the school play for 2014.
- There was no musical in 2015, due to the dissolution of the choir.
- She saw Josephine_LeBlanc in the hall just after she'd eaten Jaylee.
"None of you girls really appreciate why we fought. We went off to fight the Japs and didn't ask for anything in return! And now we get all this texting and facebook and twitter bullshit. We might as well have lost the damn war."
- His opinions on race are firmly rooted in 1942.
- He is tough as nails; age doesn't seem to have affected him much, other than to make him crankier.
- The Colonel stepped in to save Bryce from Josephine_LeBlanc; he fired a tranquilizer round into her from a powerful rifle.
- He stopped Josephine_LeBlanc from eating Cat.
"It's about time this school had a winning record. The predators should take some pride in their school, and in their school's athletic performance. If anyone eats one of my star players, they'll hear from me."
- She is quite vocal about predators not eating her star players. She is less concerned about those who aren't among her best players, and while she won't outright say who those players are, she'll go on about her star players at length.
- Her temper often gets the better of her. She's been known to act first, and think things through later.
- On uniform pickup day, Coach Fine saved Iris from Josephine_LeBlanc. She had to pull her out by the legs.
- After losing the first volleyball game of the season, she found Disdemona_Halkias eating Amy_Evans. She's been furious at the lamia, and at Kyla, who helped her.
"To win these games, we all need to be in tip top shape! So who's ready to do some crunches?"
- She makes protein shakes for the whole team for some practices, to help enrich their workouts.
- The main thing she and Coach Fine disagree on is the importance of winning. Coach Fine wants to win every single game, while Miss Gallant thinks it's more important to stay level through the whole season. If you strain yourself to win one game, but lose a few players to injury, you put yourself behind over the next while.
- She caught Kyla and Disdemona_Halkias trying to eat Stacia in the locker room.
"If we rotate the formation by a little, we'll be deeper in some places and nearer in others. The other teams will be hitting where they expect us to be, not where we actually are."
- As with all her projects, Miss Silan takes the challenge very seriously, and records every volleyball game on video. She'll review tape, and will point out tendencies to her players. She will also research their opponents, and often has specific tips for specific other players.
- She has each player learn other players' moves, so in the event of a disappearance, they can step into each others' roles. She's working on several setpiece plays that would require a lot of coordination.
- She has a few unconventional ideas about how to win games of volleyball, though she's only broached the topic once with the Coach.
- She came upon Josephine_LeBlanc devouring Charlise. She tried to stop it, but the reptile menaced her instead after finishing off Charlise. When the Headmistress showed up, she regained control and left Miss Silan alone.
"Wade into my pool, little girl."
- She stands twenty feet if she straightens, though her hunch puts her at twelve feet. Don't ask about her weight, it's enough to crush someone. She has sharp claws, a wide mouth full of teeth, and a mean streak to go with it.
- If she is pissed off about the demise of her daughter, it's hard to tell. Miss Goad seems to be pissed off almost constantly.
- She also teaches Special Biology, for those who tick off the Headmistress.
- When she arrived, she made her lair in the school pool underneath the gym. The water has turned brackish and stale, as the oils of her leathery skin have overwhelmed the chlorine. The school has built a new pool facility for the swim team, which Miss Goad visits only occasionally.
- Om nom nom.
- Miss Goad held her first detention class, with Josephine_LeBlanc, Vania, and Erin. Josephine fled halfway through, and Erin was devoured. Vania doesn't want to talk about it.
- Miss Goad stopped Disdemona_Halkias and Suki from eating Braelyn and Ellie in the basement. Then she tried to eat Braelyn herself, but was stopped by the headmistress.
- Rumor has it she saw Barbara_Savage eat Miss Ravinski and did nothing.
- She stopped Josephine_LeBlanc from eating Jess-In-Boots in the halls.
- She stopped Illaoi from eating Bethany and Eve in the locker room.
- On the final day of classes, she came upon Illaoi_ as she finished off Laila. She had a good laugh about it, and reminded her that she'd love to eat the predator given the chance at prom.
"In many ways, the romantic poets are more relevant today than ever."
- His looks are a source of much distraction for his students. Whoever interviewed him surely knew it, and hired him anyway. Whether it was deliberate or not is up for debate.
- It's not just the students who have eyes for Mr. Blake; Coach Fine has been seen eyeing him, as has Miss Gallant.
- He tried to step in to save Parker from Josephine_LeBlanc, but he was too slow.
- He showed up to see Amy_Evans and Seraph pulling Vania away from Suki.
- He arrived to stop Disdemona_Halkias and Suki from eating Susan and Makenna.
- In the library, he ran into Josephine_LeBlanc just as she was polishing off Natalia. An awkward conversation ensued.
"Simply smashing."
- After last year's choir was dissolved halfway through the year, she feels they need to make up for lost time, and to regain some of the prestige the Primrose Choir has enjoyed in the past. She's planning some ambitious concerts, working both with the band and the drama department.
- She is one of those rare people who listen to classical music in the car, and hum along with their favorite parts.
- She isn't quite sure what she's getting herself into at Primrose Academy. The reality of the food chain at the school has not sunk in yet, nor will it until she sees evidence. Privately, she doesn't think it's really so bad as Madam Kitchov says (knowing that her friend is prone to tell tall tales on occasion).
"I need the violin to come in a little louder. Let's do that again from the top."
- To those who aren't band members, Miss Dale is curt and abrasive. She can even be rude to them; she simply doesn't care enough to make the effort to be polite to those who aren't hers. This extends to predators too.
- While she is a bit of a bitch, she does back it up through sheer skill. She plays the violin, trumpet, saxophone, and guitar.
"Eat up. Starvation isn't a diet."
- The kitchen can be a sinister place. Within its confines, there is a huge meat grinder (easily large enough for a person or two), a meat locker with meat hooks, several butchering stations, a deep fryer large enough for someone to take a bath in, and a variety of herbs and spices.
- The sinister nature of the kitchen has given rise to rumors. They say that Lunchlady Smith sometimes puts students through the meat grinder and serves them as hamburgers or sloppy joes. They also say that she preys on her own staff from time to time, if no students present themselves. Nobody can be sure!
- Her aide, Miss Daxley has disappeared. Some suspicion has been cast her way.
- She's been seen wandering the halls more often towards the end of the year. On the prowl for fresh meat, perhaps?
"I'll take care of it."
- Miss Riel is a lady of few words, and like her boss, she rarely talks with students. Instead, she tends to stay in the kitchen and keep to her work. It's easier to cook if you don't have interruptions.
- She does meet with the Culinary Arts Club; they deal with Miss Riel more than Lunchlady Smith due to time constraints.
- The young lady has a need to keep things neat and tidy; she'll often be seen polishing all the equipment, making sure it's all in good working order. She takes great pride in a clean and efficient workplace.
- She doesn't seem too bothered about her missing co-worker, Miss Daxley.
- Miss Riel showed up to escort Leah away after Josephine_LeBlanc tried to eat her.
- She popped in at anime club just after Josephine_LeBlanc tried to eat Reiko.
- She's been very quiet for the last third of the year. Perhaps suspiciously so.
"Would you like fries with that?"
- She loves to chat, and will talk about all sorts of things with whoever she's helping. She's a shameless gossip. Her favorite topics are romance and illicit romance.
- She is a hard worker, despite the odd distraction. Even when chatting away, she'll be wiping down counters.
- She has her favorite students in the class, and will be sad if they are eaten.
- She goes to Mexico every winter for Christmas.
- She seems nervous about her missing co-worker, Miss Daxley.
- She's been a bit subdued for the last third of the year. Perhaps feeling regret for something?
