Solan, not the same player as the setting!
Beauty care. It's a simple-seeming field, but still quite important to looking and feeling your best, and more diverse than most people would think! Hair styling, scalp care, skin treatments, facials...
And that's about the point that Corra here either sniffs indignantly and walks off, glares a hole right between your eyes, or just flat-out slaps you in the back of the head NCIS-style if she's particularly peeved that day. In a world with just humans in it, maybe that'd be all to it, but in a world like hers? People -still- don't seem to think about what more there is!
Luckily for the monster girls living in a world that still tends to just think that way, there's Salon Rein, run by Corragina Viehalter, the lovely lass in the picture to the left. But what's so special about Rein? Why, in addition to the usual hair and skin care stylists, it's a salon specialized towards monster girls and run by a girl with a deep passion for giving them the care they -truly- need!
Corra grew up tending to all kinds of animals, both mundane and more exotic, and her companions have only grown with adulthood and independence. And growing up, she's had to tend to each and every one of them many times. As she did, she came to realize something. Just as the animals had all sorts of different care needed... so too would the monstergirls that populated the world all around her. After all, a moisturizing lotion made for a human girl's hands won't do a lick of good for a harpy's feathery forearms, or a regular shampoo for a kitsune's fuzzy tails (and certainly not for a centaur's hairy coat!) And this is Corra's most notable skill, one that's surprisingly rare even now in her world, having gone out and learned all kinds of new techniques; how to care for the different parts that a monstergirl can have, what sorts of shampoos and lotions and oils and treatments are best for each, what sorts of things need to be done to ensure health for all these different bodily surfaces and what needs to be avoided to avoid hurting them...
She's developed quite a repertoire by this point, bolstered by her long experience taking care of her many, many pets. Apart from a few trainees who know a specific type of care, she runs the salon essentially alone, and has made as much effort as possible to make the place accessible to all sorts. There are the usual chair/mirror combo you'd find in a salon tailored for humans, of course, but there are also raised tubs to allow mermaids and other aquatic girls to soak while they're cared for, depressions in the floor where a centaur can lay herself down and have her coat cared for (and with a drain to allow for shampooing and cleaning), perches for the more restless harpies, and so forth. Corra herself has learned a lot of techniques, and openly offers feather preening and care, coat cleaning and brushing, scale care, horn cleaning and buffing, a wide range of care for those delicate fins (you would not -believe- the sorts of problems even a small fish can get with those), claw and talon cleaning and trimming, and of course tail shampooing and combing, among many others, and she's always willing to try to accomodate a more exotic need than the salon's sign lists.
As for the girl herself? Well, truth be told she actually -lives- at the salon, or rather in a small suite of rooms above, most of which are reserved for her many pets. She's proven herself accomplished at caring for them as well and has gained a license to keep more exotic pets such as gila monster, a rare variety of cockatiel, and even a rather young fennec fox she's highly protective of. She even has koi! Her primary focus is -always- to her animals and to her customers, which ironically doesn't leave her a lot of time to be out and about, but despite always doing her best to remain professional she does do her best to leave a favorable impression, hoping that one or another of her customers might stop by after work sometime; she even sometimes will bring one of her animals down and let a customer hold it while she takes care of them.
On a more personal note, Corra is a rather open girl. Friendly, but not afraid to show annoyance with someone, via McGee slap if she deems it proper. (She is somewhat of an NCIS fan it would seem.) While she doesn't -hate- humans or go out of her way to avoid them or anything silly like that, she does seem to at least somewhat prefer the company of monstergirls and animals to others of her own kind. She also stays at home a lot; while far from introverted, her work is rather demanding and she tends to spend a lot of her free time just resting or doing simple things, as likely to be found curled up on a beanbag with her fennec and watching a crime drama marathon as sitting on her balcony with her myna on her shoulder and watching the stars slowly come out. It's a quiet life... one she enjoys, but still wouldn't mind letting someone kind and understanding enter as well...
