A coterie under recruitment, for
Grimoire, of the
Nobilis_Succubi.
Name: Ophelia De La Sombra
Rank: Countess
Known History: The scion and heir apparent of the De La Sombra family fortune, Opheila enjoyed the finest things in life. An endless
wardrobe, incredible food, and the attention of the best tutors and teachers that money and prestige could buy.
A blonde bombshell by the time she was a teenager, she breezed effortlessly through school, collecting a bevy of followers and hangers on,
as well as a few peers, close friends who's ties would open opportunities to increase her family's standing.
And then, a chance encounter with an altogether too charming woman saw her falling under the spell of one of the mysterious and dangerous
Noble Succubi. Seduced by her beauty and power, Ophelia fell into the tanatalizing woman's grasp.. and eagerly agreed when she was offered
chance to join her. A few scant weeks later, and she, too, ranked among the Noble Succubi.
Her natural charm and instinct for power and dominance saw her rising through the ranks of her coterie, until she proved that she deserved
control of her own. Raised to the rank of Countess, she has begun to establish her own coterie, with eyes on the rank of Queen.
She takes full advantage of all of her talents.
Her enhanced, alluring beauty. Her manipulative, calculating mind. Her keen understanding of social dynamics and the
intricacies of finer society. As any Countess, she is fast, incredibly powerful, and capable of mind-bending allure and control over
women who happen to stray too close to her.
In the rare moments that she reveals her true form, she can be seen with glittering dragonfly wings, iridescent and resplendent,
and a pair of slender, curling horns that emerge from the top of her head. She typically wears a choker,
to hide the swirling symbol of her curse that graces her throat.
Name: Sakuya Harumi
Rank: Baroness
Known History: Sakuya met Ophelia while she was in high school, the Countess having insinuated herself into the position of
english teacher in her school. Sakuya was a quiet, bookish sort, but possessed a serene, almost unearthly beauty that drew Ophelia like
a moth to a flame.
Once Ms. De La Sombra set her sights on poor Sakuya, she was doomed. Attention and barely hidden seduction drew the poor, dark-haired girl
into the center of Ophelia's web. In the space of a devilishly tittalating weekend, Sakuya found herself claimed as a lady-in-waiting,
entranced by the allure and power of her teacher.
Sakuya's assimilation into Ophelia's coterie took all semester, with the wicked teacher drawing out the delightful agony until the
quiet girl was pleading for her transformation.
The change struck her much like the difference between a raw opal and a polished one. The beauty was always there, but her lustre
and depth was revealed as the curse worked it's magic. Most striking were the almost luminous, hypnotic violet eyes that it left her with.
Sakuya is still quiet, but the seduction wrought by Ophelia, along with the curse working in her, left her with an almost eager desire for
other women. For now, she limits herself, having recieved no permission to add to Ophelia's coterie.
Her true form reveals that her eyes do indeed glow, deepening their allure. Alongside this, her talents are almost exclusively focused on
mind control and illusion. Soft, fluffy moth wings adorn her back, and a smaller,
matching pair are visible on her head, as well. As to her mark, it seems well hidden beneath the clothes she usually wears..
Name: Amelia Ravenhurst
Rank: Baronet
Known History: The youngest of Ophelia's coterie, Amelia is the 'runner', acting as talent scout and recruiter.
She attends prestigious schools, using her apparent youth to easily infiltrate the student body. Then, she scouts out potential Handmaidens
and future Baronets per Ophelia's specifications. She is the most openly sociable and approachable of the group, as well.
She was the first to meet Ophelia's exacting desires in a great while, a line of vanished girls and 'useless handmaidens' showing
her just what it meant to fail Ophelia. She doesn't feel the burning ambition that Ophelia does, or the naked lust that fills Sayuka.
Instead, she accepts what she has become, taking the curse in stride, if not precisely delighting in it. She knows that she has to do
things correctly, or her usefulness to Ophelia will end, and so will her life.
While the remainder of the coterie has little in the way of empathy for those they choose to corrupt, Amelia is often a shoulder
to lean on for those who are having difficulty adapting to life as a Succubi in training, or simply as a servant of the Noble Succubi.
Amelia is sort of a de facto counselor for those under Ophelia.
She also is the most skilled mage in the coterie, and is often chosen to supplement Ophelia's own potent skills in rituals and
greater spellcastings.
Name: Lydia Shae
Rank: Baronet
Known History: An oddity in the otherwise young coterie of Ophelia. Lydia Shae was the Vice President of Finance
from a corporation that Ophelia's family had a controlling interest in. When she was elevated to Countess, Ophelia knew she would need
someone with a keen mind and business accumen. So, she captured and forcibly turned Lydia. The brunette still holds herself formally,
and dresses in exsquisitely tailored business suits. She was in her upper forties when she was turned, and has, as a result, returned to the
peak of her physical beauty.
The cool facade she wears goes right to her core. Despite her unwilling transition, Lydia doesn't rail at her change. She accepted it
with the same cool reserve she might have faced firing an employee, unflappable through it all. But the ice queen has a dark side, sharing
Ophelia's prediliction for abuse and enslavement, making her the closest in temperament to the Countess.
Goals and Operations: Ophelia's aims are ambitious, to say the the least. She wants to rise to the level
of one of the Queens of the Succubi court. Nearly all of her actions are directed toward this aim. She has gathered nearly a dozen Handmaidens
to herself, keeping them within her manor to act as maids, cooks and servants, protecting her, her coterie, and her secrets.
She is, however, something of a glutton. Certain in her superiority, she relishes eating and disposing of girls regularly.
Her coterie has learned that many of those who find their way into Ophelia's mansion will never emerge again, and pre-emptively begin
planning for the coverup such disappearances require. Ophelia often offers suggestions to her subordinates, but leaves them to their own
devices, seeming to think that practical experience is the best training.
