Courtney is a quiet girl, age 19, former star of her high school's track team, who entered college on a full scholarship as a result. Unfortunately, she immediately found herself going from a big fish in a small pond to a minnow swimming in the open ocean. Having found that she was entirely outclassed on the field, she has attempted to launch into her studies to become a biologist. She avoids social functions and situations, preferring her books and studies. To avoid interaction, she tends to wear her headphones at all times, even if there's nothing playing. She's aware that this would seem strange to some, but sees potential ridicule as a worthy price for just being left alone.
