Koukuji_Family... uhh... something about pirates.

Long ago, there was a kingdom where a great power was hidden away, until an evil man stole it for himself. He used this great power spread darkness across the land. That is, until he was confronted by a boy in green wielding the blade of evil's bane, and was sealed away. This boy's legend would be passed down for generations to this day. However, the darkness that was supposedly sealed away rose again, and the hero never returned. With nowhere else to turn, the people pleaded to the gods. The Gods brought a great flood to hopefully wash away the evil that threatened the people... Years later, they now dwell on small islands that were once the mountains, and the great kingdom where the people of the world once lived is now drowned under thousands of feet of water.

Now, normally this story would continue on about the boy who inherited the legend, who saved and teamed up with a pirate captain to save his sister, and eventually the world... Buuuuuut we're not gonna do that. Instead, this is about that pirate captain. The one that got kidnapped by a giant bird, and turned out to be a princess, much to her own surprise. Her adventures with the boy in green have since passed, and they had started on a brand new one... until she got snatched up again by an eerie-familiar giant bird. Apparently the Helmaroc King had family out for revenge. ...Though one would question if birds had the mental capacity to seek vengeance.

Either way, that bird carried poor Tetra somewhere faaaaar away from Link and her crew by the time she managed to fight her way free. It was a good thing she still had her sword with her. Now she's lost in some strange place, with no clue how to get back to her ship...

...Oh, you want to know what happened to the bird? Well, Tetra had to eat at some point, and there was a big bird carcass just sitting there...

What? Didn't expect a giant roasted bird to be fattening?

The first thing she's gonna do when she reclaims her ship? Celebrate with tons of booze. ...Well, she IS a pirate, after all.
