Luna is a mermaid who is extremely curious about her land dwelling neighbours! She also finds them enticingly delicious. Rather slow on land and extremely lethal in the water, Luna was given her name for her love of the night time and the moon above. Due to her rare nature and tendancy to go farther inland to pools and such to hunt she often finds herself hunted by humans who would prize her, however any of them who let their guard down where she can grab them or foolishly follow her into the water tend to dissapear forever! Luna learned that eating people also has a unique effect of making her breasts larger after meals, which makes her more able to tempt men to their fates. It's a vicious cycle!
Strengths
-A fast swimmer
-Stronger than she looks though not totally overpowering
-Her skin has a rubbery smooth texture similar that of a whale, which allows her to stretch and swallow prey as large as her
-Her singing voice is hypnotic and enticing, though rarely strong enough to distract someone already in a fight with her
-Can see and hear better than humans, and underwater even has a sonar ability
Weaknesses
-Dries out very fast on land if exposed to sunlight, as such hunts at night
-Moves VERY slow on land
-Suffers from sun blindness in the day time out of water and loses her rubbery texture which is dangerous for many reasons
-She's too curious, and too playful, often putting her self in harms way for fun
-Is a glutton, and will often over indulge to the point of imobility. Which if done somwhere she will lay in the sun can be fatal
-Can't resist fish. The only thing she likes as much as humans is fish, the only reason she's never ate until she popped under water is eventually she can't catch them. Plus hunting humans though harder and slower is much more interesting. Luna likes to chat!
Cheerful and energetic, it's hard to see the predatory nature in her eyes but it's always there. She can even be friendly for extended periods of time until she gets hungry then her friends start looking like meals.
