In the early days she used her talents for metal magic to draw raw materials directly from the earth, cutting back on costs and allowing her to bring those savings back to her patrons! But just because the products were inexpensive didn't mean they were of low quality! Danielle made certain to forgo shaping metal with her magicks in order to forge her wares the old fashioned way. Danielle has taken care to see that each new smith to enter her employ does the same, working their steel step by step and not cutting any corners with magic. It's as she always says, "There's nothing wrongs with hammer and tongs!"

With Wisteria Smithery's expansion has come the opportunity for Danielle Obrove to spend less time working and more time exploring what the wider span of Creation has to offer. Danielle Obrove is an extraplanar analogue of magician Daniel Obrove. She is not the latter's past self, his blood relative, or a close acquaintance. She's the Obrove for her particular universe and proprietor of Wisteria Smithery, whereas the wizard is the Obrove for his specific dimension, and possesses a far-less-reputable profession.
