Laura isn't really sure what she is, but she doesn't mind it a bit.

She was born to two loving demi parents. A cat and a dog. their union was odd enough, but neither of them expected to birth anything as odd as Laura.

Laura, see, is something of a shapeshifter, albeit a mostly untrained and involuntary one. Depending on her mood, her form changes, to a different kind of demi. Red hot fox ears and tail when she's passionate, a wolfish snarl and gray tinge when she's angry, a happy catlike apperance when she feels joy... there's too many to list, and even Laura doesn't know them all. She's even turned into a dragoness at once point when she got mad enough!

It's quite a gift, but it has a few drawbacks. First, she's not too good at controling it herself. Second, when she does change, her mood tends to stay in the 'personality' of whatever she changes to, and makes her a bit more emotional than most. If she's sad? Her droopy zebra ears might not rise back to perky wolf ears for a while. Is she happy? Well, nothing will get her down for a while. Feeling in love? It's a feeling that's hard to shake! If she's hungry?

Well, it'd take a lot to sate her. A lot.
