Denta

"Salivation in sleep, wonderful... Let's just get it and go."

No doubt you've heard of the mythical tooth fairies, whom take children's lost teeth and reward them in some form or fashion for them? Well, whether or not you believe in them, and whether or not you find them to be whimsical, monstrous, or just a bit creepy, they are not without their enemies. A territorial race that steals the teeth of their targets from their very mouths in their sleep, the Tooth Imps are an odd lot. Of course, they do so with a bit of duality in purpose, though the primary one may become apparent if one were to observe their apparel; they carve the bone out into armor for their territorial spats with the Tooth Fairies. Though to say that all of them are so enthralled with their jobs would be a lie. Enter the appropriately named Denta.

Denta is a 'retriever' tooth imp, roughly four inches in stature. She's a bit of a curvier imp due to the fact that she doesn't quite get as much exercise as her warrior kin, and it often leads to her being teased by them, only making her hate her position all the worse. See, retrievers are the ones that go and get teeth from their targets. Of course, the one thing they don't have going for them is that they don't have a list of targets with loose teeth, so they've got to flit about at night, hop into sleeping targets' mouths, and hope to find one or two. Of course, this does have its dangers, as many of Denta's comrades have been swallowed in action by either a blissfully unaware sleeper or a target that's awoken due to the presence of one of the plump little imps in their mouth. She's aware of the risks of her job, but even moreso of not doing it, as she doesn't wish to upset the warriors into doing more than simple teasing, nor their enigmatic ruler into taking her defiance as a reason to execute her.

She does have wings similar to a fairy's, though she retracts them into her back when she's inside of a target's mouth as to prevent any additional stimulation. She does try her hardest not to wake them up, after all...
