- She's a Vampbat who has light magic for fancy optical illusions and most regular vampiric stuff. This includes functional thralls that more-or-less act normal aside from lapses in concentration from time to time, have ridiculous drive to do what she 'requests' and don't bleed.
- In addition those she sips from don't become thralls, just that the process is absolutely euphoric to them due to saliva modifications (easier when the food's knocking on your door y'know!)
- Those she winds up drinking beyond becoming a thrall would basically die within a few months due to a leakage of their essence at this point. Those she does absolutely drain to this degree face the strongest sensations in overdrive as the flame of their life is subsumed.
- She's only above-average strong for a supernatural relying more on mind tricks, distractions and pure cowardice to escape should she bite more than she can drin-, er, chew?
- The only way she's found comfortable was to have someone of similar or larger size than she is and preparing them with a few doses of her aphrodisiac laden saliva! This'll make her target more flustered as a result and make the eventual 'feeding' the easier (and more enjoyable) for both parties! With hollowed out fangs, she presses into an artery (preferably) and allows the blood to flow into the fang facing the main current, whilst the other injects more of this saliva. The intention is to further induce a euphoric buildup only increasing over time.
- For 'sippy sips' as she calls them, it's typically 1~3% of someone's blood. Just to top up stores, at around 10% the enthrallment begins, 25% they wind up with such a large amount of her saliva that they periodically need to come back to her for a fresh batch or their body would start to attack it with antibodies and cause massive medical issues.By which time, its fusion with muscles/organs would cause irreversible damage to the host, if they survive.
- At 75% drain there's so much of her saliva and such a buildup of euphoria for them that their essence would start to leak out. Once again, the aphrodisiac replacing this albeit not able to allow them to function. Such great highs would be met at this point that resistance, if one had such strong will to persevere through it, would succumb at this point. Since the host would likely be short for the mortal world at this point, she typically continues. Whilst not essence-tial for her to have this, it certainly is a welcomed addition.
- Once done, the prey's body is no less sunken or the sort than it was minutes ago. Albeit ghostly pale. Fang marks are well hidden with a resealant triggered upon reaction of the fangs pulling out to quickly cover the wound!

Garlic, sunlight, etc. doesn’t harm her!
Being bitten doesn't result in becoming a vampire. Her kind reproduce and regardless of the host, the end result is a fellow vampire of her kind. Though specific genes may/will vary.
Also, turns out she has some pretty decent regeneration too! Aure found out the hard(er) way as did Derial, since she never got into fights or attained much in the way of injuries, she only recently found out!
Since Derial has a fair bit of experience with essence and its manipulation, she could basically bully herself into another person and corrupt them/take them over.
With her soul retaining the memory of everything required to alter the genetics to basically change the host into a near-replica of the vampcat...give or take a few genetic quirks she decided to make her own from her current host.
As a survival mechanism, her body tends to regenerate from wounds/damage significantly faster than a regular person. Not instant/near-instant, however.
