Then you've come to the right place, the Kuromami Detective Office is here to lend a helping hand in dealing with occult and unnatural problems! Run by the its stalwart namesake, Eisei Kuromami, the agency is something of a cross between a typical private detective office and a spiritual medium!

Its chief goal is preventive measures and consultations, offering mere mortals a safe and reliable way to interact with and dispel the supernatural, for a hefty price of course. In more extreme scenarios, such as missing person cases or known yokai infestations, Eisei also offers extermination services!~

Besides beyond a perfectly honest and upfront businesswoman, Eisei is quite a capable exorcist! She can provide a long list of completely legitimate credentials, and plenty of trophies from previous successful jobs well done that you won't think to ask twice.

Eisei is of course a Bake-danuki herself, and quite a powerful one! After a few centuries of terrorising Japan with mischief and mayhem, she eventually settled into her middle age with considerable contentment, and began to consider plying her skills with magic and knowledge of the world of the yokai towards a more productive purpose.
It was about time she repaid humanity for all the bemusement it had provided her, by helping to defend them against her fellow yokai! Even if she is only one Tanuki, she has been able to intervene to save plenty of lives and prevent plenty of grief over the years since her office opened its doors.

Plus, she also gets paid a hefty sum for each job, and she gets a chance to hang out, drink and smoke with those adorable little humans, almost all day long!
