Some people live in the city. Some people live in the country. Some live in wooden cabins, all alone and away from civilization. And then, there's Dianna.
Dianna is something of an outcast, you see. Not by exile or anything like that, no, entirely by choice. Ever since she was young, Dianna always believed that the city wasn't meant for her. Too many people, streets filled with people going from day to day life... and no nature to speak of, save pidgeons on the rooftops.
It was only natural that Dianna would eventually choose nature over all else. Her family and friends called her crazy, but she knew better. The right way to live was to embrace the circle of life, and live life as deer like her were meant to live.
But the forests weren't everything they cracked up to be. Harsh wilderness nearly claimed her, nearly, but she prevailed. She made shelter, found water, found food, made clothing. She embraced the circle of life, in every sense of the term.
In the circle of life, Dianna found a certain fascination with the process of eating, after being without food for so long. The way predators hunted, and prey hid, it all was beautiful to her. Things were meant to be that way! A predator hunting, a prey hiding, and someone ending up as little more than nutrients and waste... And she enjoyed both ends of the spectrum.
On a completely unrelated note, recently, hikers have been vanishing recently in forests outside the city. Perhaps you should be wary of the forest, or perhaps the forest should be wary of you~
