Dread_Dragon

Thorak is a large, dreadful and ravenous dragon.

His den is dug in the ruins of an ancient castle - a gloomy, ghastly setting that is pleasing to his decadent tastes. Sometimes, the place is populated by a court of slaves and prisoners, none of which can hope to last long - since the beast is always hungry.

Unlike many other dragons, he doesn't collect hoardes of gold and precious treasures; he only keeps a handful of magic artifacts, ancient tomes and some other handy tools, and most important, an extensive collection of trophies.

The beast stands twelve feet tall at his shoulder in his quadrupedal pose, and about twenty-eight in length without his tail.

As can be expected from a dragon of this size, Thorak is extremely tough and strong physically, and covered in thick scales that offer better protection than any armor.
His wide wings, with the help of some wyrm magic, allow him to fly dexterously at great speeds.
In addition, the beast can breathe a ghastly green flame, which can consume rock and steel as easily as flesh.

The creature's wyrm blood grants him a number of supernatural abilities, the most notable being a form of magical sight, even capable of seeing across long distances and through walls, clouds and other obstructions, and in complete darkness as well.



Although used to sustain himself on cattle and wild animals, the dragon has a special taste for intelligent prey, with humans and humanoids being his absolute favorite.

Scenes and settings
I'm open to scenes with almost any setting, from contemporary to sci-fi, although obviously this character is particularly at home in fantasy scenes.

Permavore
If you want a definitive (or almost so) resting place for your character, you may count on Thorak's stomach! As in, I'm open for perma-vore scenes if you're searching one. And I'm more than willing to put some extra effort in such scene to grant that your character's ultimate demise will be something special!

Scene ideas
Here are some quick ideas for possible roleplays!
-Tribute: A settlement regularly offers a young and beautiful victim in sacrifice to appease the monster. The new moon is coming, and it is time to choose the next offering...
-Adventurers : An adventurer, or a party of them, dares the lair of the dragon hoping for treasures. The beast's collection of trophies foreshadows what fate awaits these unlucky fools...
-At Your Doorstep : Dragons aren't real, right? So that shadow you just saw from your window ... you must just be seeing things. Too much time spent on weird chatrooms at night may have this effect...
