One wouldn't think that a merman as effeminate-looking as this one would share the name of the legendary Black Sword of the Celts... But, then again, it's only fitting to call him by such a deadly title, even with his size. He was first discovered by humans shortly before an Irish ship made port on the shores of America some two centuries ago. The relatively small vessel was in a panic over a creature they described as a 'mermaid, no, not a mermaid, but a merman!' apparently tugged one crew member off of the ship and tackled another after he attempted to harpoon him, raping and devouring both from a distance at which he could be observed, but couldn't be fired at... At least successfully. The same ship ultimately set sail back for Ireland shortly after delivering supplies, but it never made it back to its home port. Rumors spread, and some Irish sailors were afraid to travel to American shores unless they could afford to travel on a much larger vessel.

Indeed, this means that he's a few centuries old, at the least. So what of it? He looks young and loves to use his rather effeminate charms and lovely singing voice to draw in fresh meat. Though, unlike most sharks (and like some sharks, simultaneously), he's not exactly the rip and tear sort of predator, typically devouring his victims whole after he's had his fun and they've had theirs. He's incredibly fast, but not the strongest or largest of predators, measuring to just larger than a human in length, though his body is rather elastic, capable of holding multiple prey his size or larger.

Oh, and, fun fact; like most sharks, he does have a secondary sexual organ. Yep, he's got two penises. Whether or not he uses both is up to him, or at the discretion of his partner, should he honestly care or at least pretend to.
