It might've been one too many knives to the head, or perhaps somebody close to her got hurt, but one thing's for certain: EX Meiling is not to be trifled with.

She is the Hong, the Rainbow-Dragon of Chinese myth in a human form. Where she walks, life-giving rain and, by extension, rainbows follow.

Where the more human Meiling can be lazy, dopey, and prone to defeat, EX Meiling is serious, decisive and a dangerous opponent indeed, her friendliness towards those who approach the gate of the Scarlet Devil Mansion virtually non-existent. It is in this form that Meiling will feast on humans and other youkai alike, though usually only if given a reason to do so.
