As a child, she was very 'sheltered' from anything her parents, who followed a bigoted variant of the dominant religion of her world (which is the 'true' one). Because of this, Eden had no idea that there people like her, other bisexuals. Now at the age of 21, she has been free from her parents' constricting ways for a few years now, and is free to spread her wings (pun intended).
