Eidolon

Eidolon ('Eid' to his friends and most everyone else, because what kind of weird name is 'Eidolon'?) is a fairly-typical anthro-otter! Dark-brown fur, lighter-cream accents, webbed paws, thick tail, love of all things fishy; check, check, check, check, and very check. Clocking in at somewhere around five feet, his stomach and midsection sport a fair layer of ... extra padding, attesting to his rather-generous diet, in spite of his active lifestyle! Eschewing shirts, he does have the modesty to keep himself clad in a pair of cargo-pants, their watertight pockets always bulging with this and that. Playful and curious, quick to chat and practically quicker to go off on a rambling tangent, Eid's rarely looking for much beyond friends and fun times to spend with them. 'Fun', of course, is a dangerously-broad term; some days you go swimming WITH the otter, some days you go swimming in the otter... but no harm done, right? At least, nobody's really complaining now...

Eid's not hard to pick out from among his brethren, at least as much thanks to his accessorizing as to his body-type: Each wrist sports a thin circular dark-mineral bracelet, joined by a third riding up high around his thick tail, and on any given day he's bound to have a few bands or patterns of dye-marked color painted over his fur, though the vaguely-tribal marks are moved and changed from day to day. On the whole, he's sharp-witted and generally friendly... if you're willing to forgive the occasional bit of mischief or indulgence of his more primal urges!
