Bio

Honor. Courage. Skill.
These three things are what all samurai should have, and Eiji is no different. Being born within the city of Kyoto to an aristocratic family, Eiji Fuyuki was taught many things about honor and strength. Having been training with with father, as well as the many tutors and swordmasters within the prefecture, Eiji soon was able to become a skilled warrior. When he became of age, around 16 years old, he joined the local daimyo's army, and has further improved his own skills during the era of the "Warring States". He proved his loyalty and skill to his daimyo, and as such has been promoted to becoming the captain of his own squad.
He had great skill with the sword, and therefore was not appealed by the notion of commanding from the back, often leading the charges, and cutting down any who stood in his path to victory. Though aggressive, Eiji still held a great amount of honor with him, never utilizing tactics that would harm anyone's honor -namely the use of ninja and assassins, as well as deception. This being said, he had a strong hatred towards ninja, and as such did not use view them as equals. It was due to this honor that Eiji did something that would change his life forever.
He was coming back from his daily patrol when he was greeted by the sight of smoke and fire... the source: the daimyo's palace. He raced back, only to find the remains of a battle that was too one sided, the sign of the ninja of Iga labeled deeply onto the wall. This angered Eiji greatly, and as of such he headed out, alone, in search for the ones responsible. However, though he was able to get near the stronghold, he found an army of the Shogun's forces standing guard, as if deterring him from coming closer. Filled only with rage, Eiji attacked the Shogun's forces, cutting down a multitude of soldiers before finally being captured and restrained. Though Eiji attacked the Shogun's men, the gods spared him and he was put into exile for account of his skill, never to return again. He loathed the Shogun for what he had done, and vowed that he would never rest until he had had his revenge. Eiji now roams the world, banished from his beloved homeland as a ronin (a samurai without a master), trying his best to find a way to seek revenge.

Personality and Characteristics

Being betrayed by the Shogun, Eiji finds it hard to trust others, and often keeps his distance. However, his strong sense of honor compels him to do the right thing, saving those who he feels need help, as well as keeping to a strict code of honor that the samurai always follow.
