Joan Javier grew up in Kohtan and pretty much raised her younger brother, Jerome, from the start. The two have been an ironclad team ever since, well into adulthood. Both grew up in a rough neighborhood, Joan keeping her brother safe until he was capable himself, and even then she was still protecting him. They soon became tough and their wits got keen until Jerome was making quite the money fighting professionally. Always supporting her brother every step of the way, she partook in training and martial arts to give him a challenge while improving herself, earning the nick name El Brasero Even once Fuego took on the Sovereigns, she was right there along with him.
Once the mob was dispatched and the King in Amber Clad imprisioned, Joan settled down and renamed her bar to Del Pozo El Fuego since her brother was seen as a local hero. Success didn't stop there though, as with the funds they were making, she was able to start a charity and food drive for those less fortune in Kohtan. Now long after that, she met that one special man in life and mothered a son with him. Everything was good in life for once...until that man just disappeared one day, leaving Joan alone as a single mother. Though she was devastated, with support of her family and now the responsibility of having a child to raise, Joan pushed on through.
