When Elena learned of the elemental spirit within her she was uncertain if she could control its impulses, so she ran away from her home and village to protect those she cared for. She hates to be alone, so she often stays with one of the other three girls for company.

As Dartstorm she had the ability to fly at incredible speeds and generate electricity to use as weapons against her foes in addition to her air powers.
