Elora is a Faun (as stated clearly above) native to the land of Avalar. Her home-world seems a mystery, but she bears the same species to the females of Fracture Hills in Autumn Plains. She is friends to The Professor and Hunter, also natives to Avalar. Elora and Hunter were aiding the research of The Professor and his new Super Portal technology using Orbs as a power source. Hunter entered some coordinates to use for the portal, but entered a code that brought Ripto, along with his minions Crush and Gulp to Avalar. Elora ordered Zoe and her friends to take the Orbs and scatter them throughout the worlds and shut the portal down before Ripto could gather the things needed to take over Avalar. Scolding Hunter for his failure to chase down Ripto, and causing the mess in the first place, the group went to the world Glimmer to catch a dragon which Ripto hated. This lead to Spyro flying through a messily set up portal into Glimmer and his inclusion in the Ripto incident.
Over all Elora could be considered a helper, but not necessarily a big leader. She gives helpful advice and information to Spyro through his quest, as well as aid him in his battles with Ripto's minions and Ripto himself. She seems to show a general care for those around her, but also some stern looks to those who fail to do what they can. In times of need she takes a step up to direct and assist those involved acting as a guide and an influence. Her caring and involvement to major issues or times of need has portrayed her with a strong heart, with a bit of sass every now and again for good measure.
