Bio
Age: 20
Height: Around 5' 6", but is fairly strong for his size.
Build: Slim, lean muscle
Eric Shread is an ex-mercenary who decided it was best for him to stop while he was ahead. He was kidnapped at the age of 8 from an orphanage where he was constantly fighting bullies in order to survive. The people who kidnapped him forced him to train how to kill along with a group of orphans his age. Many of the orphans died during training (often killed for not doing certain tasks), leaving only a small fraction to survive all the was out of their training. Once he completed training, Eric spent the next several years fighting in a mercenary group all over the world, only to finally pay his way out at the age of 18.
He was considered the top of his class, and in being so was often forced to kill his comrades in order to survive (it was believed that a bad soldier during training did not deserve to live), and has thus experienced many traumatic events.
As a result of the way he was raised, Eric found it hard to relate to people other than his fellow companions, and would often spend most of his time away from groups, often wandering through nature in hopes to escape his nightmares.
He goes around from place to place in order to try and find something (or someone) that will help him recover from his childhood ordeals. He hopes to one day find true happiness, though it is hard for him to grasp a concept that he virtually has never known. There are times he thinks of suicide -in order to escape his pain - but always stops himself at the thought, finding it cowardly. So now, he travels through towns and cities, often getting into fights where he tries to protect someone or another in order to lighten part of the weight he feels on his shoulders.
Eric isn't afraid to kill people who he knows to be evil, but can be reluctant to do so if said person is a woman or child.
He is yet to know the meaning of true love, often coming across woman after woman, but always leaving with a sense of emptiness. He does care for most of the people he interacts with, however, (especially when they are nice people) but naturally pulls away in fear of hurting them. Though he is looking for something to bring him out of the void within himself, Eric is often selfish in thinking that he is not a very important figure in people's lives, thus the reason he keeps his distance from people whom he deems dear.
Appearance
He normally wears his old desert-camo pants with a brown/black jacket with a T-shirt underneath and absolutely loves his cap (it was a gift given to him by a dearly departed friend)
Personallity
He is fairly shy, though he can be outgoing when needed.
Eric has a caring nature, and will be doubly protective over women, children, and abused people. He has a strong sense of justice as a result of his childhood, often going out of his way to help those in need (he often exchange riches for random acts of kindness -which is his own way to try and pay off the many sins he has committed).
He has a weakness for beautiful women (most likely due to his days as a mercenary) and this has often gotten him into trouble many times...
Suggested RP Plot (Can be Grab N Gulp or Multi-Sessions)
Eric comes across a person who is in trouble, he saves them. The scene then goes along the lines of Eric offering to buy something for said person, and him accompanying them to their intended location (to prevent further incidences)
Eric is travelling though a town/city/whatever and has to stay for the night. Having no money, Eric opts to try and work for a place to sleep (or is forced to sleep on the street) where they meet a certain someone...
Eric, having lost his way while going from place to place, stumbles across [insert location] and meets someone interesting
Also, I am open to any number of scenarios that have not been mentioned (these are merely here to help anyone interested in RPing think of a situation)
Eric encounter a beautiful woman at a bar/pub/club/etc. and decides to try and woo her for a one-night stand, little did he know...

MedilyEnma, who kindly played the role of Pred for me. -- Traveling to an unknown town, Eric decided to go to the local tavern. He met a cute girl there, and made an effort to impress her. The town itself had a series of disappearances, and as such, Eric decided to escort the lady home. There, he seduced her and ended up in her arms in bed... Little did he know that the woman he laid with was the reason for these disappearances, but he soon found out the hard way...
