Eris is a cheery and bright - and admittedly naive - young lady who aspires to be a great pokemon trainer someday. That dream would be closer to realization if she wasn't prone to oversleeping and getting sidetracked. She does make up for this through sheer determination and genuine care for her pokemon. Her first pokemon which, by the way, she was fortunate enough to receive only on account of Professor Holly being even lazier. It was because of this that she got her first pokemon, Aura, who is a Charmander and also the target of her jealous friend and Rival Erzsi.
She sees her pokemon as not just tools but friends and family who she is increasingly becoming more affectionate with and dotes on. Eris seems to think it'll foster stronger bonds. Or perhaps her Absol, Nike, is rubbing off on her a little. Yikes!
