History:

Eve's career as a knight has been a rocky one. As an infant, she was left with an order of holy warriors known as the Hallowed Knights. The woman that left her (presumably her mother) told the order's priests only two things before vanishing-- the girl's name was Evelyn Valeria, and she was to be trained in their ways.

From the word go, Evelyn never quite fit in. She was the only trainee who's lineage couldn't be traced back through generations of heroes and she didn't have the same familial support as the other rookies. It could be said that the girl was in a crowd, yet all alone. However, Eve wasn't going to let this get her down. Come Hell or High Water, the girl was determined to claw her way to the top and be the strongest, most famous knight in the order! She spent her childhood mastering sword and shield combat as well as a variety of other weapons and when she began taking on her first quests, Eve garnered a reputation of excellence and efficiency. Around the age of 12, things were looking bright! Then... It all fell apart in the blink of an eye. During a sparring match with an older trainee, Eve's opponent used magic to throw her off guard and poor Eve nearly went up in holy flames! That day, Eve learned she isn't human. Not fully, anyway. In her veins flows the blood of a demonic parent and now... Everyone knew it.

Personality:

Eve has changed considerably in the years since, going from eager to please to brash and arrogant. After all, if everyone was going to shun her because of who her mother slept with, why should Eve bother being nice to them in return? Better yet, why doesn't she show them all how great she really is-- how much BETTER!? Maybe then, they'll finally understand how much she's WORTH to the order! As one might imagine, Ms. Valeria's attitude hasn't made her many friends. There's no denying that she's incredibly talented, but few of her fellow knights are willing to put up with her and fewer still are actually willing to partner with her on assignments. However, this seems to suit Eve just fine. Less people around to steal her glory, and less people around to question her... Methods...

Suffice it to say, Eve is a veritable egotistical house of cards. She's quick to put others down in order to elevate herself and quicker still to fly into a petulent rage when denied the respect Eve feels she deserves. Still, despite her nasty attitude, Eve does posses an at least mostly functional moral compass. Though the hot-headed knight is eager to devour people for the slightest offense, the vast majority of them often leave the girl unscathed-- Frankly, seeing someone weakened, humiliated, and naked covered in her juices is far more rewarding to Eve than actually melting them down. Of course, when it comes to ending those in need of true knightly judgement, Evelyn much prefers her stomach to her sword...

Abilities:

Since discovering her demonic heritage, Evelyn has experimented with a handful of talents many wouldn't exactly consider on the up-and-up. The young knight has yet to fully figure out how her insides work-- she's only just recently started shoving people in them, after all-- but they've proven an excellent way to humiliate and remove her obstacles~

(( Just gonna infodump for now since the creative juices necessary to word this all pretty aren't flowing. As one would expect of a predator, Eve is fully capable of making a meal of people in a variety of methods. Strangely, she's seemingly capable of consuming inhuman amounts, each additional occupant in her belly seeming to take less space than the last. Eve hasn't fully tested the limits of her hunger, but she's comfortably fit entire adventuring parties in the past. Further, Eve has almost full control over her insides, capable of safely holding her victims for weeks at a time or fully digesting them in minutes. ))


Relationships:

TheLadyKnight - Evelyn's so called arch-nemesis. Eve hates this perfect little 'princess' and everything about her! Makes sense, given Adeline was granted her sacred sword and title through birthright alone. Yet despite this hatred, whenever Adeline is given a group assignment, Eve is always the first volunteer to join her. Rumor has it that Eve may actually harbor feelings for her biggest rival, though its best not to talk about it. Spreading such gossip is a surefire way to end up a target of Eve's bullying.
