There are few things more dangerous than an amateur magic user, except perhaps an amateur magic user who has been only half trained. Evie is more dangerous still, a half-trained amateur magic user who THINKS SHE KNOWS IT ALL.....

Evie, an orphan in modern-day midland America, had her talents recognized at age 13 by a warlock who had settled into a life in the modern world, by the name of Hugo Trant. Trant was a drunkard and a lecher, but despite this, was quite skilled at the use of magic and energy. He adopted the young girl, and began teaching her to control the energies that she had heretofore been summoning accidentally. Unfortunately, after a year, he also began sexually abusing her. She endured his more sinister attentions until the age of 16, when she finally could take it no longer. One night, a suspicious fire broke out in the Trant home, and Hugo perished in the flames. Evie "miraculously" escaped, and set out into the world, intent on making her fortunes.

Evie is a hot-headed young woman. She would fall under the "Chaotic Neutral" alignment. She has great aspirations, but like any teenager, lacks the motivation to follow through on them. Not having a parental figure to guide her (or ever having had one, really), she is impetuous and has practically no moral compass. She will lie, cheat, steal, and even harm or kill, all without a second's hesitation, or any thought to the consequences of doing so. She is aware that there are creatures and forces beyond what the rest of the non-magical world can perceive, and in typical youthful fashion, she feels that she is immortal, better than all of those who would oppose her. She is unaware of vore, however.

Evie can easily be adapted to fit a more medieval/fantasy setting, or even a futuristic one.
