A very long time ago, an archdemon named Famine (ArchdemonFamine came to rule over the demonic plane of Gluttony. She was feared and powerful, and she ruled her plane with an iron fist, her magic tearing apart any who dared combat her. Slowly, her plane grew, to become one of the strongest in all of the Demonic Planes-- A superpower. Years grew to centuries and Famine had kids and her plane grew and things went as expected.

Then, one of those kids had a defect.

One kid, of all her many children, had a form of mental handicap-- Made the child slow... And for some reason, it made her gain an unusual trait to the Famine bloodline. Empathy and caring. She actually wanted to be nice to people. The child was named Fanaa, and was dismissed as retarded. Famine ignored and hated her-- She wanted soldiers and fighters and killers in her family and to continue her rule. Fanaa was none of these. Refused to kill anyone. Not worthy of ruling if Famine were to ever die.

Fanaa, meanwhile, left. Went to the mortal planes. There, she found her own code of ethics, fleshed out. She was a gluttony demon, and as such was always starving, but even when she ate people, she never digested them. The demon was against killing. She slowly gained something that all those other cold, calculating, ruthless killers couldn't get, which was actual friendship with others.

And Fanaa did the impossible. She came back, and unwittingly laid low Gluttony. The demon ever so slowly brought down the plane, until it was no longer a super power and was more akin to a refugee camp, Famine an angry shell of the tyrant she once was. All the soldiers, laid to waste by the retarded child.

Fanaa didn't kill anyone herself. She didn't realize at first she was bringing down her mother. But she did start to realize her mother needed to be brought down. Eating enough defenses in the planes allowed Gluttony's political enemies to do the rest.

Now, she is in a relationship with Woril, and has several kids, and has started to lead her own demonic plane. Fanaa is now the ruler of Starvation-- The opposite of Gluttony, she has it in their rules not to digest living things. The plane isn't much-- A rundown house, in the middle of a small patch of barren land, a tent, and a basement. But it exists, and Fanaa, archdemon of the starved ones, has survived much more then she realizes to ensure that.
