Firali

Firali is a dark haired young elf, who has just recently set out on his own from his home city. He is a sword-mage with a fair bit of skill, and a knack for shadow based magic. Specifically, in the Shadow-hand school of weapon mastery, which well matches his short blade and dagger style of fighting

Equipped with a fine, sharp blade and matching dagger, and wearing mythril chain mail under darker clothing, he travels lightly with only a few basic supplies in a small backpack, living off the land as needed.

His wandering took him at first through relatively civilized lands, where the few bandits and such he encountered put what he'd been taught to the test. But his skills rapidly caught up with real practiced, and a small goblin ambush proved surprisingly easy for him to cope with, which emboldened the young elf to further his explorations.

His adventurous travels took him far and wide through out the lands, straying farther from civilization and safety. He'd spied the occasional dragon inthe distance, but was wise enough to avoid them, not foolishly seek out their lairs. But still, a rock formation proving to be a small giant was probably his most dangerous battle to date, agility and speed his ally more than strength, as a single blow could have ended his life. But he did manage to bled the giant out over a prolonged battle, and claimed the spoils of his fight. Mostly gold and gems, but a few sell able items.

Unfortunately, when seeking out a mage's tower that had some rumors of a combination of wealth and Unspeakable Things That Must Be Stopped, well, he still doesn't know the truth of the matter, but Firali managed to hit a portal trap early on, and now finds himself trapped in a rather strange world, and has been carefully skulking about trying to get the lay of the land.

Agility & dexterity: extreme athletic
Intelligence: Above average

Very skilled with short sword & dagger, and a general strong skill set with most common weapons. Can use supernatural/magical attacks that combine with his weapon attacks to enhance them directly, or manipulate shadows to create opening in his foe's defense, or render himself nearly invisible. He can even shadow step short distances.
