Plant biology

The Floria Suppliss is a species of plant with an unusual life. The plant itself has no set appearance, with the exception of one point. That is a brown seed, which can be up to 6 feet wide. They are normally found just a short distance, like an inch, underground. They grow a single vine to the above ground, where the seek out. However it is here where they differ from plants.
The vine does not seek out sunlight, it seeks out living creatures. The vine will only target females, as only a female can help the plant reproduce. When a female is close enough, the vine will tangle around the female and hold them in place. Here, they will be pulled into the ground and into the seed. Here, the female is held and slowly changed into plant material while they absorb the seed itself. This slowly changes the metabolism, appearance and abilities of the prey.
This process takes about 2 weeks to do, during which time the fluid in the seed keeps the prey alive while they're changed. When the process is complete, the female grows like a plant to the surface and is free to then walk around and live like they did before. Appearance wise, they will look similar to how they looked in life, only with a green tint to their body. They will still have the same memories and personality as they did before. However, they lose almost all abilities they may have had before. Any plant based abilities remain but others are lost. In their place, they gain the ability to make vines at will from their hands, up to a maximum length of three times the height of the person. They are able to eat and drink like before, but they have a higher liquid and sunlight but a lesser requirement of physical food. They tend to become more predatory, due to living creatures providing better sustenance. The creature is also bound to their roots by a special link, if their body is destroyed they will regrow within a day at their roots where they first grew out. However, should the roots be destroyed they will die.
All creatures converted into the plants become bisexual without any preference. They are freely able to mate with any creature regardless of gender, however they prefer to find people with one gender and not both for this purpose. The species goes into its cycle once every 3 months, and when they are in their cycle any gender can fertilise them, providing they absorb the fluid through their vulva. Once that is done, they will use the DNA received to make a new seed, which they push out then bury in the ground to grow, find a new female and then grow into a new plant.

Aliicia

Alicia is a Pichu who was one of the first victims to the plant when a seed appeared in the park. She was not unprepared for this though, in fact she provoked it herself. She studied the plant for a long time and had a friend who was one of the plants. While she didn't fertilise her friend, she did help with carrying the seed to the park and burying it. When the plant was ready, Alicia gave herself willingly as the creature to be converted, becoming the first individual of the plant in the park. While her motive for this is unknown, she is generally sweet natured and affectionate to her friends. She is a little bit secretive though, but is willing to make new friends.
