Cathryn joined the services as a member of house Lao in 2450, Defecting to the Wolf Dragons 3 lance in 2553 after her whole lance was obliterated in a command authorized slaughterhouse. She did however vow never to attack her own forces and if forced to would never engage with hard kill devices, Soft kill and crit damage only.
Being a Scout pilot when she joined the military meant that she was well suited for the jobs that the Freelancers would preform. being apart of many operations involving hit and run tactics. her proficiency lie in light to Medium platforms her favorite being her custom Cougar scout that she had customized to suit her needs, always tinkering with objects to make them absolutely perfect.
Although she is a mech pilot at heart, she is also very capable pilot of practically anything with wheels, treads, legs, wings... Practically anything that can have a weapon mounted to it.
If one was to have an interaction with Cathryn they would see a cool, collected, very outgoing individual. who wouldn't seem to be able to hurt anyone. But...
