Saria, the sage of the forest and winds, is not as you may have remembered her.
In this timeline.... verse, setting, whatever you want to call it... Saria has forsaken her immortality as a Kokiri to live a mortal life. Why this was is anyone's guess - maybe she wishes to pursue her love for the hero, Link, or maybe she does not wish to remain a child while her fellow sages eventually grow old and die.
Whatever the case may be, Saria is now a young lady entering her 20s, still boasting magical dominion over the spirits of the forest, but adjusting to adult life when you've been an eternal child for so long is a bit awkard. Oh well, just another adventure for her to set out on!
As for her personality, she's much as she always was: playful, cheerful, but far more mature than her youth would imply. She has a soft spot for sentimentality, and as always loves music to soothe the soul.
