Rats often have a bad reputation; carriers of disease and filth, the ones that onset the plague. They're seen as vicious, mindless vermin. Freido and his people exist to disprove part of that. Freido is the heir to an underground criminal organisation that has practically ran his district for centuries.

Freido himself is the first-born son to the head of the cartel leader, so from a young age, everybody able to worked tirelessly to try and shape him into the Crime Lord he was destined to become. With the help of so many shaping outside forces gently nudging him in the "right" directions, Freido liked the directions he was going; everything for him was about feeling powerful. He loved the feeling he got during his first kill, one of their many targets carefully selected to put his combat training to the true test.

The fight was close, but not close enough to make a difference for the mark; Freido was still extremely victorious and walked away mostly unscathed. The target, somebody who had attempted to get in the way of his family's business, was eliminated and Freido had completed the final step of his initiation. Now his work really began... Or so he thought.

See, Freido thought that after getting through the preliminary stages, his relationship to the Big Boss would allow him to take an easy-route to the top. His father had different plans. At first, Freido was angry enough about his having to work his way up the ladder and earn his position that he beat one of his guards half to death. After given some time to cool down and to really think about the rewards he'd reap from earning his spot at the top the honourable way, Freido acquiesced.

Slowly, the crime-prince is working his way up the ranks, now in charge of the red-light district and all operations that go down in that area. He owns the top night club and often stays in a flat on the top floor of it. Though he has many other more lavish properties, he finds the noise of the city to be soothing.
