OOC NOTE
Hello everyone and welcome! This is my latest character, ready to nom ya!

Anyway, I made this character for a specific purpose.
Some people think furry goes well with anything; everyone have their tastes, but I personally don't agree with this idea. All my other alts are quite oriented towards scenes with human and demi-human partners in either realistic contemporary or "classical" sci-fi/fantasy settings, and not so much to interact with fur/anthro characters or in settings heavily populated by furries/anthros.

So, that's why I made Xerxes, the aptly-named Fur_Devourer: to have an alt suitable to play with all those tasty furries and anthros around here!
THIS DOESN'T MEAN I won't accept humans or demis - I actually LOVE them!

This character actually comes in two flavours: I may either play it as a feral, yet intelligent, ravenous creature; or as a more conventional anthro character, well-inserted into a civilized society, wearing human-like clothing and doing humanish activities like going to school or working. His basic appearence will be the same - well, the "strictly anthro" version will of course be clothed (/perhaps/) and have some other slight differences, but it's always the same beast.

So, go ahead and check the version you prefer!

Feral Xerxes
Xerxes is a free predator of the wilderness, particularly at home in the deeper forests. He makes good use of his keen senses and stalks silently his prey; he hasn't much to ask from life, aside from his weekly share of prey to have fun with and then devour mercilessly.
Despite being little more than a wild animal and relying highly on the most instinctual part of his mind, Xerxes is still an extremely intelligent creature, which goes only to the detriment of the prey he stalks.
- Xerxes 1 - Cunning Beast: Xerxes is unable to speak or understand verbal language, but he's intelligent enough to understand some simple gestures and interpret things such as voice tones and displays of emotions; he could even manage to communicate on an extremely basic level through gestures and moans/cries/hisses
- Xerxes 2 - Intelligent predator: This version of Xerxes is fully capable of speech, and he loves to mock and taunt his prey, or beguile and lure them. He still isn't capable of using complex tools and lives in a simple lair - a cave or a burrowed den.
- Xerxes 3 - Dweller of the forest: This other version is not only capabel of speech - he can even use tools and weapons. This Xerxes has a hut in the forest with some useful accessories inside - and he often drags here his prey, storing them in cages or bounding or chaining them. Sometimes he also enjoys a well-cooked meal...

Anthro Xerxes (WIP)
Note on size-I realize Xerxes might be a little too huge to fit into normal "social" situations, so I am open to scaling him down a little when I play him in anthro version - depending on my partner's preference and the specific scene... Ideally I can scale him down to something between 7' and 8', but I want him to remain significantly larger than his prey anyway.
These versions of Xerxes live in a world where anthro creatures are not only well known and widespread, but also completely integrated in a human-like society. Yes, I know, this is the base premise of almost every anthro character out there, but since it isn't my automatic premise, I wanted to clarify that explicitly.
So, Xerxes lives either in a big city or a small town alongside with other anthros and possibly humans and demi-humans as well. This version of Xerxes even wears clothes! But don't let this attitude fool you, he's always the same ravenous, depraved bastard, perhaps even moreso.
I have several version for "Anthro Xerxes" as well, each one suitable for different mini-settings and specific scenes! Go ahead and pick your favourite :D
- Xerxes 4 - Street punk Xerxes: This Xerxes doesn't like sunlight, formal attires, or respectable jobs - or respectable people at all. Probably he has a home somewhere, but most of his time is spent in the streets, expecially dark alleys, or in pubs of ill reputation, cheap night clubs or essentally whenever he can get drunk, meet other bizarre outcasts, and pick up either fights or cute squeezes. Or tasty squeezes, most likely.
- Xerxes 5- Young Xerxes: Xerxes is a teenager - a bit of a precocious one, with an almost adult mindset but all the benefits of young age! He attends school, where he proves suprisingly diligent: he always does his homework and rarely arrives late in class, or misses class at all, and has good to excellent grades in most subjects. He's tidy and well-mannered in class and respectful to teachers. This creates mixed reactions in his teachers - his good attitude clashing with his intimidating size and predatory looks, and often his eyes reveal an unnerving hungry spark, as if the beast was only apparently restrained ... Most of the other students know better, though, and the only reason they don't tell their teachers about the real Xerxes is the terror he inspires them. He's more a tyrant than a bully, but he can be it in a subtle, hidden way. And it is well known that occasionally students disappear... Anyway, this version of Xerxes is a party monster as well, and pretty popular towards the less prey-ish students! His popularity is also improved by the fact that he lives alone in his own house - a quite large one, with its own pool in the lawn and everything!
- Xerxes 6- Teacher Xerxes : For another type of school scene, this version of Xerxes is a young and well-dressed high-school teacher! All the tropes about predator teachers fit perfectly for this nasty fellow...
- Xerxes 7- Businessman Xerxes : Xerxes has abscended rapidly in the corporate ladder of a big company with an alchemy of merit, guile, intimidation and mirated removal of some tasty obstacles. Now he enjoys his position of power, his big secluded home and his collection of designer dresses. He also enjoys nightlife, expecially in the classiest and most sophisticated clubs ... or those that particularly appeal to his specific tastes...
- Xerxes 8- Shady Xerxes : Another rich and refined variant very similar to Businessman Xerxes, with the difference that he's in for more obscure businesses...

Universal features - these are the same for both the feral and the anthro version.
Whichever version of Xerxes I will be playing, there are some common features that won't change:
Physical
-Xerxes is extremely strong, even stronger than his already impressive size and musculature would suggest. He can lift twice his own weight with surprising ease, for example.
-Xerxes has long retractile claws; even when full retracted, their tips still protrude by a good 1-2''. These claws are considerably sharp and resistant;
-Xerxes has an exceptional sense of smell, a good hearing and can see in the night as well as in full light.
-Xerxes has no supernatural powers whatsoever.
Character
-Xerxes is cunning, devious and malicious. He is a manipulative bastard and won't hesitate to deceive and lie to further his goals (usually a full belly).
-Xerxes has no respect for other creatures' lives or dignity. Everyone smaller than him can be used and abused at his whims, with prudence being his only restraints. So, for example, his anthro version won't hesitate to take and devour the first tasty passer-by if he's sure he'll be able to get away with it.
-The main flaws in Xerxes' cunning are his arrogance, self-confidence, and a combination of greed, gluttony and lust that can overcome his prudence. Also, he's smart, but just "averagely smart", so to speak - he's not a genius.

RP Ideas
Feral
-If that huge fellow Street-punk Xerxes is knocking at your door at night, you'll better not be at home at all.
-You are alone in your room, at your PC; you heard some noises, but these must be raccoons ransacking the trash cans, what else could it be?
-A romantic camping with your partner, what could be more lovely? You only have to be on the lookout for the local wildlife, but hey, you can handle some squirrels, can't you?
-A pool party at your friend's house in the garden suburb! That's great, at least until a hungry intruder turns it into a buffet.
Anthro
-You're the new student in Young Xerxes' same class, and you don't get the strange looks he's giving you lately...
-If you're a student in Teacher Xerxes' class, you'll better take his warnings seriously.
-A pool party at this rich boy's/your superior's house with all the popular kids/VIPs? What could possibly go wrong? Well, everyone else already knows each other and you might feel a little out of place at first, but hey, if you've been invited there will be a good reason, right?
