    • Garrod Wienfield is a native to Kothan, growing up in the streets and even being a former gangster prior to being arrested and thrown in jail for his crimes. The only way out was to serve time or join the Ranger Corps. Turning his life around, Garrod became a well regarded Ranger, even commissioned to Officer after being an Enlisted after a few years. After 10 years of service, Garrod retired from the Rangers and moved into law enforcment. Much like his previous career, he rose up in the ranks rapidly and even became the Police Commissioner of the city. Unlike the rest of political upper crust, Garrod has been viewed in a more respected light than others.

    From the streets, to foreign soil, to offices, Garrod is quite the seasoned man. It seems like he has experienced just about everything life has to throw at him, or at least that is the aura he gives off. From the way he talks and the stories he tells, it would seem like he has done every job in the field, and he has a story to relate to anyone. But all of that came from the fact his upbringing was rough and the mistakes that went along with it. Former gangster, he escape from a life of crime after being sent to jail, seeing just how others were turning out and the misery that life style caused. Thanks to a program to turn criminals into Rangers and Pathfinders, Garrod managed to be one of the lucky few who managed to make the cut thanks to his cleverness. Training was tough, and so was sucking up his pride, but he fell in line and focused on pushing himself above and behold the others. All that hard work paid off in the end, becoming an NCO right out of basic and being sent on a tour to Hanovii. Earning a full commission only 4 years later, Garrod retired from the service at the rank of Captain, with full honors.

    Back in Kohtan, he saw just how much the city was falling apart. Being a man of action, he joined the police force an worked as a beat cop, before quickly becoming a detective. That didn't last long either, as the position of Police Commissioner opened up after the murder of the predecessor. Needless to say, no one but him volunteered for that position, but many would say that there was no one better for the job.
