Gehenna is the state head of a fledgling duchy, better described as a small village- the population, counting her and her three guards, is less than 30.
To help sustain her small town and attract new settlers, the young duchess partakes in what might charitably be described as adventuring, less
charitably as mercenary work. She and her guards escort caravans, clear monster nests, slay beasts, and generally keep the lands surrounding
just a bit safer, as well as lending their highly trained blade arms to the highest bidder during minor land squabbles between larger duchies.
Such acts are often not done for coin, but for much more nebulous favors, much more valuable for Gehenna's sproutling villiage. Her former status
as a princess can only do so much to prevent armies appearing on her manor's doorstep and politely insisting she hand her lands over- weaving an intricate
web of alliances and promises does.
While the woman is a shrewd tactician and capable stateswoman, her combat skills, quite contrastingly, can often be described as brutal.
Wielding her heavy blade, as wide as most men's thighs, the elven princess crushes shields, shatters guard, and simply overwhelms her
foes with the weight and brute strength behind her wild, vicious swings. Beasts and monsters slow her naught one moment, and her blade crushes
armored hide and shatters thick skulls as easily as it does shields and men.
