Note: This character is designed primarily for the
Monster_Girls setting, although this is not the same player.
Gelda's one of those monster girls you tend to notice right away. Not necessarily because of any sort of special features, either, but something about her presence tells you that this girl isn't the ordinary, if short, human she physically appears to be.
For starters, there's the sudden and definite rise in temperature in any room she steps into. For another, there's a presence and confidence in the bearing of that small body, and she's almost constantly grinning, showing off the subtle fangs among those pearly teeth. And then there's her unnaturally garnet eyes, and her ruby-red hair, which when you look close is subtly glowing... She does have a tail, too, but she usually keeps it curled around her waist under her clothes. Some people have a tendency to tug on it, which actually HURTS, and get their hands scorched black in the process.
Between all this, it's not hard to call that Gelda's not a human. But what is she? In fact, the blazing lass is a salamander, and one with a drop or three of draconic heritage as well! Because of this, she has a rather distinctly monster-ish body. She quite constantly gives off heat, keeping her surroundings noticeably warmer. Her body itself is significantly hotter; even through her clothes, there's a strong chance that humans who touch her for too long will be burned, and her bare skin is hotter still. And, being a salamander, a race connected for millenia to flames in the legends, to say nothing of being part dragon, she has quite a bit of mastery over fire-related magics.
... yes, she can breathe fire. Just don't expect her to be roasting any would-be knights with it. She had to go through quite a bit of licensing nonsense to be allowed to use it at all!
Personality-wise? She's almost oni-like, really. Loud, open, and pretty much refusing at any point to ever get upset about anything people say. Yes, even if they mention how much of a flat-chest she is. She's friendly, too, even if she has to avoid contact with almost everyone she meets for fear of badly hurting them. As for what she does, currently she's an exchange student from Europe, studying abroad wherever the fancy might take her. College classes are interesting, but the world's a place to roam, and she can learn 'em anywhere! Just have to make sure she knows the language first, and she's luckily a dab hand at languages...
