Meet the cleric

Also thanks to Alts_of_the_World for the following image of Genevieve as if she was in Soul Calibur 5! yeah looking a bit coy but nothing out of character!

Well, don't really let the looks fool ya. The armour is heavy and she's good with an axe, she's just somewhat clumsy though, mainly considering how she isn't exactly used to fighting and, well, being a cleric generally revolves around prayer and tending to the more ceremonial tasks of the village she was in.

"A-ah, you got hurt fighting a monster? Let me heal you!"

This is generally something that goes on a daily basis, the sister (though, different player) of Gemini_Rose one can already tell that she is the sister due to the fact that they really couldn't be any more different in just about any manner. Personality wise, she's a bit silent about most things, least asked, she wouldn't be one to initiate conversation with most, least others did so first.

"Don't speak to others first least they speak to you!"

Upon those words she was brought up, mainly the parents were kind it was just that upon hearing her voice, many would instantly know that perhaps she is not the brightest bulb in the shed with slow manner of speaking and the soft tone to boot really didn't help much. Being from a village in a world where monster-being generally try to attack people and people attempt to reclaim the land that they once did have, so she's typically busy helping others with tending to the wounded. At times, having to go and practice to make sure that her axe-arm doesn't start to get 'loose' so to speak. Only one to practice in the medium armour, it helps to compensate for the battleaxe.

Though she may not be the best with the blade, the fact that she can call upon the divines for most things allows her to take on opponents from a range and up-close. Not that she has many because she's really not bound to end up in a fight for the most part, it's just her nature to heal the villain or the victor either way. Despite it perhaps not being for the best as they'll just be at each other's throat again the next day, she'd leave the town knowing that she did her bit of good! Though, off to the backstory first?

As a kid, she was one of the two children of the 'rose' family, their paths were easily made clear, her timid nature and success in the arts of magica allowed her to easily become enrolled in the cleric's school. This was essential as there was a prevailing need for the healers to get involved and help with the war that waged on and is a large part of her childhood as one may guess. Early awakenings and sleep allowed her to live like any other would, having the daily prayer, a bit of weapons practice and attempts at invoking power from the divines and attempting to see how progress went.

As time went by, eventually she became enthralled with the routine and had little time to do anything else, thus her other sister's progress in life had gone unnoted for the most part. Only after she had finalized it entirely did she manage to start getting free time and was let off to finally make a difference on her own. Only to find out that her sister had left and not only just that, yet her name was only mentioned by cut-throats and the worse that one may dare to meet. It seemed quite strange, sure she seemed like a tomboy at younger ages but then again, who'd have seen her going down such a road?

Thus the journey for the reason behind what her sister did, along with a reunion for old times sake alongside with possibly finding the 'good' in her sister would be the main objective for this red-headed heroine!

Far as her possible attributes go, such would be the following:

Tongue of daedra: For some of the higher requirement spells, she would need to make use of a language able to commune with the outlandish beasts! Not that she won't accidentally say, "Your mother suckled from the boot of a palm tree" instead of "May you please help me bring the soul back for this person" just because she'd have twisted one word around.

Words of the Daedra:
Her understanding of the language comes from divine knowledge presented to her by Senmura, her goddess, this can only expand as she tries to progress further and higher into the clergy ranks, so far, is what she knows. The words invoke those below Senmura, perhaps only for the highest of words to actually catch her eye, to perform the request of the words to imbue the power with a person or create what is asked for;

Tr'vlun Do Krosis "Trifle does Matter": This would allow her to seem more persuasive when it comes to dealing with people. Such as letting a guard get her through somewhere or an inn keeper giving a cleric a cheaper rate.

Glos Briv "Water Bringer": There is still more to be learnt on this phrase, yet from what she knows, allows a small container's worth of holy water to be created. As one can guess, useful for crossing deserts and providing famished villages with some relief.

Vlokus drah, svol drun "Light comes, not leaves": This allows for illumination to be brought either from her hand or to an object of choice. Good for night-time walks. It can vary in colour or strength too!

Volkus drun, nei'lv-or, dras "Light goes, darkness, forever": This does quite the opposite, bringing the shadows to a darker colour and leaving a small area cloaked by the night.

Drah "Speed": This allows her to go faster, for solo-travelling and distance jumping.

Meleev, nus, do'vlonk "Fire, crush, sacrifice": Her axe or hand can be imbued with fire along with the force of the impact being multiplied triple of what she can normally hit. There is still more to be learnt from this but this is what she knows so far!

Sh'lo-sun, blus, Sh'lo-sun "Dead, walk, Dead": All movements made by her result in no sound being made at all for a small period of time, except for explosions and the like which are still heavily muffled though.

Blos levku, dun, Qvtin salos "Mortal wounds, gone, Body heals": As one would guess, this is the healing call. It can be directed to one mortally wounded person or to others, with slightly less effected within the radius.
