In this age of reality shows a new breed of adventurers have arisen. Steve Irwin and Bear Grylls being among the most notable of the breed.
Now arriving is Gerand Borlar. He sees himself as an upgraded combination of both of them. Not a naturalist or survivalist per se he takes whatever comes his way...and of course films as well. His favorite scenarios involve uncharted territories where there may or may not be native inhabitants. He has a certain amount of arrogance in his ability to handle situations. He always goes into an area alone first. His stated reason is "we don't need production crew screwing up the terrain for the show" but the reality is his own dark secret. He is a cannibal. Caught out in a jungle on one of his first shoots he and his production crew (camera man and director) were attacked by a small hunting group. His personal skill with fighting along with the natives surprise at finding this small group of white men alone carried the day. The camera man and director were not so skilled and were carried away by two hunters while he ultimately killed the two who attacked him. They did wound his leg though which left him unable to escape immediately. With no food and only a canteen of water and a machete his next move was apparent even if it did take him two days to bring himself to take his first bite.
After the initial taste though his taste for human flesh was in full bloom.

Knowing he could not possibly indulge this in the normal world he plunged wholeheartedly into the reality TV world.
He has eaten several natives of both sexes and found the tastes ever so much grander with each helping. He has even managed to smuggle out some flesh after shows are shot in his personal gear. This smuggled meat has served as his only experience with cooked human meat but he is curious about more.

How long can he continue before he is caught? Also how long before a native group turns the tables and enjoy his light skinned meat for their own meal?

When he goes in on his personal forays he carries only a bowie knife,his machete, a lighter, and water. Oddly no one has ever questioned his lack of food stuffs but perhaps they believe it to be a survival thing since he is rarely gone for longer than 4 days.

He is approximately 5'11" and 180 lbs. More functionally muscled than "cut". Very proficient in hand to hand combat he rarely makes use of weapons. The machete and knife are more functional (hacking underbrush or cutting plants) than defensive. Well adapted to jungle or wooded area movement though a true native is far better than him.

This char is available for non-cannon play. In other words if a lion or dragon are interested in a human meal to stalk or hunt (in any environment) well Gerand can be had. Gerand is ONLY pred to humans (or human-like) creatures. He can be prey to any creature but trying to skin ferals or demis is not a RP fav. Also with no weapons and only human level strength it is unlikely for him to be victor in any such confrontation. As always though feel free to contact with ideas and we can talk it out.

Gerand is also the inspiration for Jungle_Adventures. This is an alt that is a hub for the kinks or scenes mentioned here. The idea is to get people together for RPs so drop a PUB if you have an interest or idea.

Finally I contact many chars if I note in profile there is an interest in HV or cooking scenarios. I try to be polite and don't contact "in char". If you look over my profile or decide for any reason you don't want to RP with this char just tell me. I take no offense and will not whine about why or offer to change my char to get a RP. If you have a suggestion that is all well and good and we can chat but if not please just say "not interested" and I assure you I will respect your wishes and not become a pest. Thank You
