Well.... where to begin...
Gerard is not from around here. But really, he's not exactly from anywhere you know, anyway, so that's kind of a given. A wanderer, typically not staying around for longer than he has to, he's a quiet sort who tends to avoid people if he can help it at all.
Dressed rather unusually, Gerard is typically seen in simple brown pants, a light leather shirt, leather moccasins, and a light, hooded mantle, clasped around his neck. He doesn't carry much with him, aside from a leather satchel containing a small number of vials, carefully stoppered and sealed with wax, full of unknown fluids. There is also a mortar and pestle, and a small, concave metal pan, and a pair of tongs. He also carries a large knife and a smooth hardwood staff with him.
But... he's no mage. He will be one of the first to tell you this, and most people who know him, should you meet them, will back him up on this. He doesn't really have many special powers beyond his impressive capability to survive... well, quite a few things. He cannot eat anyone, at least not on his own, though he may survive being the victim to such. He only has 2 abilities, in truth... but those, well, you'll have to find out in character.
The young man himself stands a mere 5'4, with ruddy brown hair and blue-gray eyes, his skin lightly tanned. His ears are pointed, slightly, and his eyes are peculiarly bright in the dark, but aside from that there are no observable unusual qualities...
