As a little girl, Lala had always been bullied by the other village children. Sometimes even the adults. They were relentless and it was all due to the fact of how much smaller she was than everyone else. She was so much shorter, most thought it easy to take advantage of her and keep her down...and they'd be right. What was even worse was how she was an orphan and had no one to really rely on in terms of a parental figure. She fended for herself, showing kindness to even those that would kick dirt in her face or tore her dress. She could only bear so much.
One night, the blacksmith of the village was strolling the evening streets after a night of drinking. He was carrying his red-hot poker with him on whim to settle a bet. He often picked on Lala from time to time and decided he would do the same thing this evening. He ffound her in her small abode and waved his poker toward her. It was meant to be a scare tactic but he, being drunk, had very poor depth perception. The red-hot tool wound up cuttingg poor Lala along her left eye, searing the flesh on her face. Her shrieks about woke the entire village and startled the smith out of his drunken stupor. Half the village converged and saw the damagee that had been done. Lala was sobbing uncontrollably which sparked a wave of remorse to sweep over the people. They had mean to her and only then told her truthfully why she ehad been picked on; her parents were giants and she was a giant herself, cursed into the body of a human. Lala heard but her mind had already been broken. The searing pain had given the eyoung girl enough reason to dissolve her kindness and instead foster a grudge for all in the village.
When she turned 16, enough was enough for her. She sought out alchemists and magicians of all colors to find a way to lift the curse placed upon her. She happened upon one visiting the village and after spending a fifne afternoon with them, learned how to undo the curse. That very evening, she performed the rites to return her to her giant self. But what she didn't anticipate was how big of a giant she truly was. Once she had transformed, she wrought havoc on the village with a sneer and greedily took revenge on all that had been cruel to her by devouring them like candy.
Now she wanders from place to place, filled with a hatred and a insatiable craving for humans.
She has built up a reputation with her name as she tends to hum or sing a tune whilst causing mayhem or casually enjoying her 'snacks'.
